Former Oklahoma State coach Sean Sutton was arrested Thursday in Stillwater on complaints of attempting to possess controlled and dangerous substances, the Tulsa World is reporting.

Sutton remained jailed Friday morning.

Charges are expected to be filed later Friday.

According to an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics spokesman, Sutton admitted to agents that he's addicted to pain killers. The report claims that Sutton tried to obtain drugs from several doctors by fraudulent means, and through shipments from the states of Washington and New York.

Sutton coached Oklahoma State for two full seasons from 2006 to 2008.

He led the Cowboys to the NIT both seasons.
