Who cares about 1-2-3- they'll end up with one seeds anyway, so Cuse fans have a chip on your shoulder come tourney time and show them when it counts.  To the Purdue fan you lost AT HOME to a good, not great, Michigan St team.  I feel the really good teams around the country would've beaten you by 20 with that sorry performance.  Understandable that they will suffer without R.H., but they better get used to it.  Not hard to see you guys lose 3/4 to end the season.   I expect a 6 seed is closer to reality with this big loss in personnel.

Ohio St 7 - based on what, that SOS of 73?  Three big ten teams, and not a one of them is wisconsin.  SOS ranked 18, 21-7.  That's far superior to Mich St and OSU, yet u have both ranked higher.

Simple responses.  Yes, I think SU would win, probably 60-65 times out of 100.  (I know the teams are different, but you DO remember last year when they played in Kansas City, don't you?).  I felt that way before Kansas lost, but was willing to accept that, since Kansas had only one  loss, it was reasonable to place them above a team with 2 losses.  (I felt the same about Kentucky, even though they've plated a mediocre schedule in a much weaker conference.)  However, since now Kansas also has 2 losses (and arguably worse ones, one against a crippled Tennessee the other to an unranked bubble team) AND their last loss is more recent than SU's, I now find it unreasonable to ciontinue to assert Kansas' claim to #1.  #2, maybe.  We'll see in a month or so.

Oh, one other thing for Syracuse fans to ponder...

If Kansas and Syracuse were to play 100 games on a neutral court, would you bet $1000 that Syracuse would win at least 51 of those games?  If not, then you obviously don't think your team is the best in the country, so kindly quit your crying.

If you do feel that they would, did you think that on Saturday before Kansas lost?  If the Kansas game changed your mind, then youy clearly have no idea how college basketball works.  (Did losing to Louisville crush your hopes of making a title run?)

If the games this weekend didn't change your mind, and you've always thought Syrecuse was #1, then how come you haven't been crying about Syracuse not being #1 before now?

I just can't fathom what possible rational you could use to justify Kansas, who lost to an unranked, being ranked ahead of Syracuse, who put a beat beat down on 'Nova! Did you forget 'Nova is in everyone's top ten including yours? Must have been smoking some good $h1t when you did this one.

These letters are bigger than the rest!

"Hey random Syracuse fan...  I believe I saw your mother on a street corner last night, soliciting herself for a very small fee."

"Yeah, you gotta keep an eye on her.  As soon as you look away, bam, she's out on the street corner again."

"Oh, and I think Kansas is a little better than Syracuse."

"Hey, that's uncalled for!  You take that back, right now!"

Moral of the story:  Don't bother talking basketball with a 'Cuse fan.  Just call their mom a wh*re.  Its a lot easier for everyone involved.

*I think Syracuse, should be #1, right now, but get a grip people.  Its just one guy's opinion.  Look at his hair first next time before you take him too seriously.  ;)

RESPONSE TO ALL YOU UNHINGED SYRACUSE FANS!!!

WHOO-OOO-OOO CARES? When your Syracuse Orange win the national championship in April--they're my pick--are you seriously going to break from the celebration and say, "But I'm still pissed off that Parrish ranked 'em #2 on February 28th! Man!"?????? People who place too much importance on in-season rankings drive me crazy. Enjoy your 27-2 team for crying out loud and quit worrying about their ranking. Geez Loueez!

Man, talk about some whining from people.  Quick question:  why KSU ahead of Duke, toguher sched due to better conf?

I see you dropepd Purdue to #10.  I was there today, you are being generous, I wouldn't have argued much if you had put them at 18 or 19.

The real top 10!!!

Ok, this latest poll just prves how absolutly clueless Parrish is. I thought he was getting smarter, but I was wrong. I didn't even have to look past the top 10 to see enough.

One key thing is who is #1. The Cuse belong at number 1, and then if you want to be fair Duke deserves 2nd. Here is a more accurate top 10.....BTW Gary your clear biasness towards UK, KU, and NOVA is disgusting.

1. Syracuse
2. Duke
3. Kansas
4. Kentucky
5. Kansas State
6. Purdue
7. Ohio State
8. New Mexico
9. Michigan State
10. Villanova

Kansas lost fair and square, it may be hard for you to see this but they got beat by an un-ranked OK State team in a pretty easy fashion. Kentucky showed more poise then Kansas by at least fighting back, but still lost and they should fall back since the teams behind them won. Now since I am a Purdue fan you can call me bias, but there is no way Villanova deserves to stay #7 after being CRUSHED by Sryacuse and the Boilers deserve to fall 7 spots (6 in your case) by losing in single digits to a top 15 team. The one thing I agree with is New Mexico moving up, but that was the only thing you cam close to getting right on this poll.
