The ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchups have been announced.

Here's the schedule:

11/29: Virginia at Minnesota
11/30: North Carolina at Illinois
11/30: Ohio State at Florida State
11/30: Michigan at Clemson
11/30: Georgia Tech at Northwestern
11/30: Iowa at Wake Forest
12/1: Michigan State at Duke
12/1: Purdue at Virginia Tech
12/1: North Carolina State at Wisconsin
12/1: Indiana at Boston College
12/1: Maryland at Penn State

The marquee game is clearly Michigan State at Duke.

That's No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the preseason Top 25 (and one).

top 5 all time schools in ncaa basketball are

;   1. UCLA

;   2. UNC

;   3. KENTUCKY     and the top conferences:  1. acc  2. pac10  3. SE  4. big12  5. big east   opps no big10 again

;   4. DUKE

;   5. KANSAS
I'm not going to entirely disagree with your top 5 schools, but I must beg to differ on your top 5 conferences. In fact I have been over this before on another thread.

Final 4 Appearances by Conference since 1999:1. ACC - 11 appearances, 5 Champions2. Big 10 - 11 appearances, 1 Champion3. Big East - 9 appearances, 3 Champions4. Big 12 - 6 appearances, 1 Champion5. SEC - 4 appearances, 2 Champions6. Pac-10 - 4 appearances, 0 Champions7. Horizon League - 1 appearance, 0 Champions8. Colonial Athletic - 1 appearance, 0 Champions9. Conference USA - 1 appearance, 0 Champions

I'd have to say that the Big Ten is a pretty dominate conference. I don't care where you put them in your top 5, but they are a top 5 conference. So what do you base your top 5 conferences on? Mine is based on fact.

WHAT!?!?!? Dook isn't playing an unranked team!?!? Though, it figures that they'd be playing this one at home. considering they were on the Road to wisconsin last year and on the road at Purdue the year before... oh wait, both of those teams are are ranked???

8-3 wow what a stretch and Duke did NOT slaughter Purdue.  Yes, it was a 13 point game but only a 4 point game up until  min mark.  What game we're you watching or did you just catch the final 5 minutes where they traded off baskets.Might I also add that Robbie Hummel didn't play against Duke in the tourney? Purdue will beat VT
I think that the Big 10 and half fans need to wake up and smeel the coffee.Oh we woke, we smelled the coffee, and while we drank the coffee we read the morning paper which said, "Michigan State Spartans: 2011 Champions."     I'm not saying they beat Duke in the challenge. I haven't decided yet, but I am saying they will win it all.

GO STATE!!!

Wow! The Big 10 or 11, whatever the hell you call the conference finally one a challenge and they are all cocky. Well thats about as manychampionships in the last twenty years-1! The ACC has wone 8 championships in the last twenty years, Duke -4, UNC- 3, AND Maryland- 1. Big 11- 1, the mighty Michigan St. I think that the Big 10 and half fans need to wake up and smeel the coffee.

ACC/Big 10 picks

UVA @ Minnesota - Gophers win.
UNC @ Illinois - Tar Heels win.
OSU @ FSU - Buckeyes win.
UM @ Clemson - Tigers win.
GT @ Northwestern - Yellowjackets win.
Iowa @ WF - Deacons win.
MSU @ Duke - Blue Devils win.  Polls or no polls, Sparty doesn't have a chance in Cameron.
Purdue @ VT - ...toss up for me.  Purdue was awesome last year, but got slaughtered by Duke in the tourney.  Plus, Blacksburg is no joke.  I gotta say VT because of home advantage.
NCSU @ Winconsin - Badgers win.
Indiana @ BC - Eagles win.
Maryland @ PSU - Terps win.

So, that's 8 - 3, ACC.
