Kentucky's Terrence Jones announced via Twitter on Saturday that he's withdrawing from the NBA Draft and returning to school for his sophomore season.

"I've been enjoying being a college player and plan on striving to reach my goal of winning [UK's eighth national title]," Jones Tweeted.. "I can't leave the [Big Blue Nation] just yet.

Jones averaged 15.7 points and 8.8 rebounds last season while helping the Wildcats make the Final Four. The 6-foot-8 forward was a projected lottery pick but decided to return and play with Darius Miller and a star-studded recruiting class that should have Kentucky ranked no lower than second in every preseason college basketball poll, No. 1 in some.

Underclassmen who have declared for the NBA Draft have until Sunday to withdraw.

I wouldn't count on Liggins just yet.  He hasn't made a final decision though.  That will come today.  Don't be surprised if he stays at UK.  And people will learn about the real DeAndre Liggins if he does.  He came to UK as a huge offensive threat.  He's just had to play behind a string of greats during his time there.  Now it's his turn to be great on OFFENSE as well as being the best defensive stopper in the nation bar none.

Cry babies.  Don't forget.  Cal has had 2 final 4's revoked.  Just reminding you what you're supposed to cry about.  Let's hear it crybabies.

As for UK paying players - how many of you have ever mentioned that UCLA payed all their players during Saint Wooden's run?  Sam Gilbert.  That's a name you might want to learn.  Then you'll see how the media carries the water of their favorite teams and suckers like you actually believe what they say.

Jones returning to Kentucky

Kentucky is going to be extremely deep next year.  Even without Brandon Knight coming back, keeping Jones makes UK's team much bigger and deeper

Jones returning to Kentucky

Unless you have proof that any player at Kentucky has been paid or has received payment of any kind, then all you have is an uninformed accusation that says more about your inabiltiy to base your statements on fact than on your envious opinion. When you grow up (hopefully you will be able to understand what i have said to you) but now you sound like a child with childish irrational thoughts.

Jones returning to Kentucky

you are a joke. if u are going to hate then hate and admit it is because you are jealous. be a man and stand up with your own opinion and not rehash tired old rumors of UK paying players and cheating. admit you hate UK because you are jealous don't hide like everyone else. UK fans all know that is the real reason anyway.

Jones returning to Kentucky

The skeptical view--He's taking the sure payday of being a UK star over the less sure NBA money.  The NBA will still be there when he (and Cal?) decide to cut and run.

The optimisitic view--He realizes that if he works on his game, he'll be more NBA-ready in a year.  And he may even enjoy the college lifestyle, particularly at UK, where the players are treated (and paid) like gods.
