Arizona sophomore Lamont "MoMo" Jones is transferring out of the Wildcats program.

Multiple outlets in Arizona reported the news Monday night.

The 6-foot point guard averaged 9.7 points last season and helped the Wildcats reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament. The reason behind Jones' decision is unclear, but it's worth noting that Sean Miller is about to enroll a heralded recruiting class headlined by Josiah Turner, a 6-3 point guard many expected to take Jones' starting job next season. Turner is widely considered to be among the top three point guards in the Class of 2011.

Very unfortunate.  I don't care who the kid is that is coming in Momo is still the incumbent and it's up to him to work harder in the off season to keep his starting job and to maintain his minutes on the team.  Not good for Arizona to  lose him as he is talented and experienced.

That sucks, his loss will be felt more off the court than on (And that's not a knock to his playing ability). If I had to bet, this move has a lot more to do with something else than it does with playing time.

Best of luck Momo, I'm sure you'll succeed wherever you go

So what if he were to 'come out of the closet'?  Does that affect his ability to write a sports column?  Would you take him less seriously?  What the hell would it matter?  No it doesn't beg the question.  Your joke is stupid and so are you.

MoMo my Man; maybe you should motor to a team that gives you mo shots. Multiple misses on any mid-major team could spell mediocity in your mission. Maybe Missouri or Montana or Michigan State can take on your massive mindset that makes you to make a move from being a mover to a moron.

how long until parrish comes out of the closet (jokes!  but that super-tanned, faux-hawked, electro-white-toothed look does beg the question, no?)
