Ravens offense is offensive to watch

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Let's hold off on the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl talk.

How could anyone think that after watching their offense be so offensive Monday night?

The Ravens were shut down by the Jacksonville Jaguars in a 12-7 loss, didn't get a first down until there was 5:29 left in the third quarter and had a grand total of 16 yards at the the half and didn't score until the was 2:02 left in the game.

Jacksonville's defense is improved, but it's not that good.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco looked terrible the entire night, with happy feet and inaccuracy that made him look like the rookie passer, not Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

The Ravens defense kept Baltimore in the game, in part because Gabbert wasn't much better than Flacco, but the Ravens offense looked primitive. The Jaguars played a lot of man coverage on the receivers outside, loading up the box against the run.

The result was a horror show. The shock is the Ravens came in ranked fifth in the NFL in points scored.

Super Bowl?

With that offense, they might be lucky to make the playoffs. It's time Flacco takes the next step -- if he can.

Joe Flacco looked terrible the entire night because he's a horrible QB. His postseason numbers are putrid, but he's 4-2 because of his defense. If the Ravens had a competent QB at the helm, they'd have won another title by now.

Defending Gabbert Pete???? What game were you watching??? He may be a decent QB someday, but right now he SUCKS!!! Just compare him to Ponder... I'm sad we're losing opportunities to draft Luck... Go Jags!!

More expert analysis from the man that picked the 0-6 Dolphins to make the playoffs.  Never let it be said that
affirmative action only benefits women and minorities.  It apparently also protects dumbass sports "journalists"
from getting the boot.  Long live the smurf known as Pete Prisco.

You just said the same thing over.....That does nothing...Tell me how its fixed...Because it looked like Jacksonville was throwing the game too...4 fumbles by MJD...really? I wondered who paid him to do that...give me a break.

Watched the game from start-to-finish, and I saw nothing wrong with the way the refs called this game, whether by challenge or not, made the right calls from start to finish. If anything, the Ravens got a break on that last call with Torrey Smith's second foot(although I do think I saw the left toe touch as he makes the catch) but the NFL isn't fix. Ravens lost. Chargers lost. Colts lost(haha). And they lost because they played poorly. I have honestly never seen a team as good as the Ravens play that poorly against that bad of a team. I mean it's won thing to be stunned by a terrible team, and another to get embarassed by ma quality opponent. But this game against this team was just silly, simply silly. The play calling was all over the place, you got bad pass protection, Flacco missing his throws wildly, and Ray Rice gets stuffed. The defense did it's thing, but one does not survive on defense alone...I mean Brady or Manning or Rodgers would've put up 25 on this night, it wasn't THAT good. It helps when MJD can't hold onto the ball for the life of him, and you're facing a rookie qb. Josh Scobee, one of the most underrated kickers in the league, gets my game ball

Rofl......yeah......it was "fixed"....Good luck with that theory....Just like you said....Scobee had to kick multiple 50 yarders?

If it was fixed for Jacksonville why did they make Scobee kick that far? That just gives the Jaguars all the more chances to lose in a "fixed" game.

Flacco sucks, lets be honest.  But if you want to know about the Ravens' offensive woes, contact Las Vegas.  They aren't going to answer you, but let me.  The game was fixed.  Granted, Scobee kicked 3-50+ Fg's, to give the illusion that this game is on the up and up.  This is how bad the Jags are. Baltimore basically had to throw the game, the refs absolutely THREW the game, JAX needed to kick FG's OVER 50 three times, and they needed Flacco to THROW an interception DIRECTLY to a Jaguar to finish the game.  I am done with the National Fixed League.
