Don't be surprised if Redskins drop down board

There's been a  lot of speculation about the Washington Redskins moving up to take Mark Sanchez in this year's draft, but I just don't see it.

Instead, look for the club to do what it did a year ago and move backward, picking up draft picks as it goes. Washington could use a defensive end/pass rusher, and there will be plenty after the 13th choice. Washington isn't alone. San Diego would like to go backward, too, and pick up a second-round pick in the process. The Chargers have none, trading it away last year to New England.

Don't be surprised if Redskins drop down board

It would be great to actually see the SKINS resist temptation and trade for more picks.  Recent history would tell me otherwise.  I don't think that will be the case unfortunately.  I think that Vinny and Danny will tyr and get Sanchez.  Will this be a mistake?  Who knows?  My only wish would be that we not make a big splash in the offseason, draft or during the season.  I would like to put the team on the field as it is and see what they can do.  Actually have a true or real talent evaluator and build through the draft.  This is fantasy land though.  There is no way on earth I will get my wishes, it is like we are in direct competition with Jerry Jones to see who can make the most detrimental move.  Roy Williams was an awfull aquisition last year kind of like the Randle El or Archuletta pick ups for us.  Let's stop competing in the off-season and save it for the sixteen games during the regular season.  Skip on Sanchez and hope that one of the three we have can play for a year.  Do some research and find the diamond in the rough.  These are all very unrealistic and unlikely scenarios, however one can always wish.  I will be playing the powerball as well.  Cheers!  Go SKINS!!!!

Don't be surprised if Redskins drop down board

Last year everyone thought the Redskins had a revelation by trading down and getting more picks and not squandering them on trades for bit-players (Antwaan Randle El). The problem with last year's draft is that they picked 2WRs and a TE in the 2nd round (all who could have gone in the 1st). This means its incredibly hard to gauge the draft as the 1st year for WRs is basically a wash everytime.

This year again Washington dont have many picks so a trade back will be nice to get some more. Now with Michael Oher potentially going to Buffallo at 11 their man may be taken. Trading back would seem a good idea, but it only works if you hit with those picks. You could trade back and end up picking 3 bums its an awful draft.

The issue is, last year's plan has not come to fruition so the Redskins dont know if trading back is the best idea.

I personally think they will stay where they are and pick someone like Aaron Maybin or Robert Ayers to play DE for them.
