Bills cut left tackle Walker; promote Bell

In yet another stunning move, the Buffalo Bills today released their starting left tackle, Langston Walker. That means the club will promote Demetrius Bell to a starter's job and move Kirk Chambers, whom it re-signed after releasing him over the weekend, to backup.

The move is the latest surprise for a team that opens next Monday, but as we learned last week Dick Jauron is not afraid to make bold and risky moves. Bell is a young tackle the club believes can and will measure up to Jason Peters, the former Buffalo Pro Bowler the team shipped off to Philadelphia, and thinks his time is now. So it promoted him and let go Walker, who was a disappointment in preseason.

The feeling is that if Bell hadn't suffered a back injury late last month this move might have been made sooner.

its official this team has hit an all time low.... im sad to say this but the only way the bills will be good again is under new ownership which could possibly mean moving. The bills will win at most 4 games this year and jauron needs to find a new job coaching middle school flag football his career is over if he doesnt make some serious moves forward and not backwards

The noose just got a little tighter around Dick Jauron's neck. After firing Turk Schonert a week before the regular season starts, they go and cut their starting left tackle for a question mark. The Bills are falling well behing the NFL curve and knowing a few Bills fans, no one is happy about it. Anyone in fantasy football should take a long hard look at New England's defense for Week 1.

Did you even put a tiny bit of thought into this ridiculously idiotic post. It provokes no thought, horribly spelled and breaks at least 12 rules of grammar. I'm wondering how a seven year old was able to get a CBS Sports password and screen name.

Soon to be the Toronto Bills

What is this team thinking. It looks like there is no sound judgement at the top. Inexperienced line, inexperienced backfield, inexperienced coaches and an owner going senile. This looks like this year's entry for a winless season. The annual 7-9 season is starting to look pretty good. Its time to get this team under new ownership.

Bills are acting a little wacky. Al Davis and Ralph Wilson must be sharing ideas over thier Bridge games.
