Someone give Bolts wake-up call

One of these days, San Diego will figure out how to get off to a fast start ... and I'm not talking about the first half of the season. I'm talking about the first half of games.

For the second straight weekend, they went into the half down by at least 10 ... and for the second straight week they mounted a furious comeback.

Only this one fell short for two reasons: 1) They were playing Tom Brady and 2) they committed too many mistakes. A Philip Rivers interception and Mike Tolbert fumble not only killed potential scoring drives, they produced 11 New England points.

Ballgame.

For the record, dating back to 2007 the Bolts are 9-18 when trailing at halftime. Got to change that if they're going to go deep into the playoffs.

Someone give Bolts wake-up call

I-D-I-O-T
So you sure give Norv alot of credit considering he went to the playoffs with Martys team. And dont go crazy, Norv also did it with new co-ordinators that year because both Cam Cameron and Wade Philips left for head coaching positions. What happens after more player and personnel moves? Chargers miss the playoffs. The buck stops at AJ Smith and his puppet Norv Turner. Get bent and  STFU

Someone give Bolts wake-up call

Come on.  I'm a Patriots fan, but losing today is no real sign of weakness.  Chargers mistakes are typical early season issues for any team - not just the Bolts.  Rivers competes, the team had a lot of people NOT named Gates to catch the ball, too.  Plus, the Pats had ZERO tunrovers and the game still stayed close into the 2nd half.  San Diego will not be an easy playoff team, they never are.

Norv Turner is NOT a good head coach. He has proven this not just in San Diego, but in other cities as well. Who cares he has gone further than Marty, and will have more wins the Air Coryell. Coaches need to motivate. Coaches need to have the respect of ALL their players, Coaches need to know how to call a game with seconds left. Clearly Norv knows none of this.

And if ANYONE wants to challenge me on Chargers knowledge...you will lose.

Someone give Bolts wake-up call

That's all we  heard in pre-season.....lets get off to a fast start.  I though they had a plan....every game starts with a dive play off the left side!   How about a play action on that and a bomb!

pegleg- you my friend are in adiot.  Did Norv turn the ball over 4 times????  no the players did... did you know Norv is almost going to beat Don "air" cryell for most chargers victories?  ever?  Did you know that Norv HAS more playoff wins than Marty did with the chargers?  Did you know that this team has gone DEEPER into the playoffs than it did with Marty at the helm?  maybe you didnt but before you spout off like a grumpy uneducated fan you should know your role as a "casual" fan and strfu.

Norv Turner needs to go.  Exactly what was the defensive game plan.  They rushed 3 and didn't expect Brady to pick them apart.  The only way to disrupt this Patriots offense is with pressure on Brady.  Rushing 3 linemen will never get it done.

Bolts dont need a wake-up call. They need a new head coach and have needed one since the day Norv Turner was hired. Martys fired for not winning a playoff game while Norv still has a job after not making the playoffs last year. How long is this pricks leash?
