Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

The Broncos' move to Tim Tebow is a no-brainer, unless, of course, you're Brady Quinn. Say, wasn't he the second quarterback on the depth chart?

Yeah, well, no matter. He's not signed through next season. Neither is Kyle Orton. But Tim Tebow is.

So now that the season is going south, why not find out about the one quarterback linked to 2012? I mean, sooner or later you have to get a read on the guy, right? It might as well be sooner.

Look, I don't know if Tebow can play at this level, but I know what I saw Sunday ... and what I saw is what coach John Fox saw: A spark. So it might have been the result of the Chargers being unprepared for a quarterback who is vastly different from Orton, I don't know. But, frankly, I don't care.

The Broncos need a lift. Tebow gave them one Sunday. So why not give him a chance to give them one again?

Maybe it happens, and Tebow becomes the player Josh McDaniels envisioned when he made him a first-round draft pick. Then again, maybe it doesn't. Maybe he craters the next month and does nothing for the team, himself and his legions of supporters.

So what? At least you've gotten a read on the guy; at least you know where you're going with him, and that could be nowhere. But better to find out now.

I mean, what do you have to lose? Another game? Big deal. You learn something invaluable in the process. You learn where you must go next at the most important position on the field.

Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

Everyone complained about Mike Vicks footwork and release when he was at the ATL.
What did he ever win in Atlanta?  After everyone figured him out, he had to change his style.  What happened this year?  Back to one look and tuck and run.  Vick is still overrated.

At the very least, it will be exciting everytime he touches the ball.
Excitement doesn't win championships.  I could care less how exciting he is.  Tom Brady is about as exciting as watching grass grow, but I'd rather have him throwing passes than Vick or Tebow.  I like QBs that can throw passes, not tuck and run after one read.

Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

Isn't it interesting how successful Alex Smith is now that he is a SYSTEM that allows him to be successful?  And now that the Jets "D" sucks..so does Sanchez?  The NFL is all about system.  Once Tebow gets in the right system, he can be successful. Bronocs system? Maybe, maybe not. We'll see.

Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

Say what you want about Tebow but he ALMOST won the dang game last week. 6 Passing TDs and 7 Rushing Tds against 3 picks since coming to Denver? The kid is doing something VERY right. Everyone complained about Mike Vicks footwork and release when he was at the ATL. Good luck Bronk fans. You might have a winner here. At the very least, it will be exciting everytime he touches the ball.

Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

Somehow Tebow puts up big fantasy points (28 or more last 3 starts).  While that doesn't always translate into real-game value, it means the player is doing something to move the chains or put points on the board.  I added him to a team I have that's 4-1 but desperately needs a QB (drafted Peyton Manning), but will start Cassel after both have their week 6 bye because I don't trust Tebow - yet.

Of course, I didn't trust Cam Newton either and so didn't the owner who dropped him from his fantasy team in another league where I picked him up and stashed him until I last week where I started him for Flacco's bye: Flacco's lost the starting job on that team.

Tim Tebow is the right fit for the Bronco's  he was a great Gator and he will be a better Bronco, Denver needs to give him a little time to get settled in! Good Luck Tim

You must have Moreno on your fantasy team because if you have been paying attention Mcgahee has a lot left and has been the Broncos best player.  Until Moreno learns this is a stright line league and stops dancing and hesitating when he hits the hole he will be what he is...a 3rd down back.

I think that the Broncos should start Moreno ahead of Mcgahee. Mcgahee is like 40. He has next to nothing left in his tank. Get Moreno going so he'll actually have a chance at succeeding. If he keeps getting benched he'll never get the experience he needs

Tebow move the only one for Denver to make

I'm sorry, but how in the world was the game that Tebow had last week any good? The guy went 4-10 for 79 yards, the only passing touchdown he had was a Screen Pass to Moreno. The only reason why he's starting over Orton is because he can run. The last play of the game he looked freaked out. He completely circled around with no one close to him, and almost threw a pick in the endzone. In yet, people keep saying how great he looked on that play.
