Petitgout suspended

One day the Tampa Bay Bucs release offensive tackle Luke Petitgout; the next the NFL notifies Petitgout that he will be suspended the first four games of the 2008 season. The league hasn't said why, but you have to wonder if that didn't factor into Petitgout's release. Yeah, I know Petitgout tore his ACL last year and didn't pass the team's physical. But you can't tell me the Bucs didn't know this was in the works. Not sure what happened here, but am sure you won't be seeing Petitgout for the first four games of the year ... anywhere. Petitgout is eligible to sign with another club and participate in preseason practices and preseason games, but once the 53-man roster is set, his suspension takes place.

Petitgout suspendedWow!!!! A football player gets suspended and all sorts of fingerpointing and strange posts occur. This must be a really rare occurance for so many to take such a keen interest in it. Got to go. Canseco, Clemens, and the Giambi brothers want to play some Madden '09. Chow! |

Petitgout suspendedonly an person full of arrogance would comment in such manner. if we were talking baseball it would have flew. mixing the two sports is just...senseless?

Petitgout suspendedLet's see. Petitgout once played in New York. Actually, he was a Giant for quite a while. He gets suspended for four games. I'm wondering if what he did to get suspended has anything to do with hanging out with Roger Clemens, or Andy Pettitte, or Jason Giambi, or Chuck Knoblauch, or Gary Sheffield, or (insert Yankee here) ... Funny thing is, he plays FOOTBALL, not baseball you battery chucker! The Eagles are going down!!! |
