Mock Draft

give em a break, they don't have crystal balls (haha).  the fact is that each fantasy writer has their own opinions, as each regular fantasy player has their own opinions.  opinions differ from writer to writer, so sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong, sometimes you will agree, sometimes you will disagree...

on the comment about joining a league with a bunch of experts, I did a mock draft with Eisenberg, Richard, and 9 other guys last summer.  You can see the results on Eisenberg's blog on July 11, 2008.  At the end of the mock, I thought that I had the best team (Fleet of Godly Warriors):

Fleet of Godly Warriors - Jordan
Player Round Drafted Overall Pick Status Pos
McNabb, Donovan QB PHI 7 76 A QB
Jackson, Steven RB STL 1 4 A RB
Johnson, Larry RB KC 2 21 A RB
Jennings, Greg WR GB 4 45 A WR
Johnson, Chad WR CIN 3 28 A WR
Daniels, Owen TE HOU 9 100 A TE
Holmes, Santonio WR PIT 5 52 A RB-WR
Dawson, Phil K CLE 13 148 A K
Rivers, Philip QB SD 11 124 RS QB
Thomas, Pierre RB NO 14 165 RS RB
Brown, Chris RB HOU 10 117 RS RB-WR
Gage, Justin WR TEN 12 141 RS RB-WR
Parker, Willie RB PIT 6 69 RS RB-WR

That roster looked like a championship team at the time, but many from this team underperformed.

It was fun though!

Mock Draft

Amen! Those who can't do...write!

Now what I would like to see is a league where the common every day player, ie. myself could go up against some of these sports writers, players, coaches and the all around experts to see just how we would fare! That would be exciting! Let me know when!!!

Mock Draft

You so called fantasy writers should just stick to playing fantasy sports. You're wrong more than you're right!

2 examples...M. Lynch, last weeks bust...ran for more than 100yds.......L. McClain, sit'em..139yds & an 82yd TD

the only difference between you guys & EVERYBODY get paid!
