Mock Draft results

Posted on: July 2, 2009 10:14 pm

Here are the results of the latest mock draft I did Thursday, July 2 with users. I had the No. 10 pick, and I went with the best player available with Steve Slaton. This league we start three WR, so I was lucky to have Calvin Johnson come back around. I then loaded up on WR with Roy WIlliams and Brandon Marshall to likely have the best WR corps in this or any league. RB seemed to fall, so I was able to get LenDale White, Reggie Bush, Jonathan Stewart and LeSean McCoy as reserves. With Matt Schaub and John Carlson, this is as complete a team as you can find.

Surprised,i think somebodys brown nosing!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, Im sure you'll be on Jamie's Xmas Card list this year for sure.

Lets break it down, Matt S., lets hope he dont get injured again, he can be DYOmite sometimes, most times he just plain average at best.

bsp;   Slaton, no arguements their, the boy can flat out run and catch, but, once again, we have a problem, Matt has a bad game, steve could have one too, and we have at least a 1/4 of our starters with bad games, and possibly a loss too. not smart jamie.

Of course ole Jamey is the expert, thats why they is paying him the big

;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;   White is a great #2, but Johnson is still the man, so White gets the scrapes.
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;   Calvin, CALVIN, you know he is good, but he is only as good as his QB, I got him way down on my draft boards, he's not even in the top ten, doesnt belong there, Culpepper.....please........Staffor luck with that one
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;    Marshall, looks like dude is turning into a crybaby to me, thats has got to affect his overall concentration and attitude, he may screw up, just so he can get traded......another bad choice Jamie
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;     Roy Williams, now that is the smartest WR pick you made, but, is Roy boy gonna get off  the snide and be a player, only time well tell, Im rootin for him..
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;     Carlson, Im picking him too, only because in my drafts, everyone else is gone except him, whats that tell ya.
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;     Hartley, alot of owners are passing on this guy......why? to be a reason
;     &nbs
p;     &nb
sp;     &n
bsp;     Dolphins, what was that Jamie, a desparation pick, the Dolphins.........only in your dreams

I like your 3 bench runningbacks, all quality players, might fetch some good trades on down the line, might improve that so-so lineup of yours.

..........................YOUR OVERALL GRADE IS A C+, with that team Jamey, you MIGHT make the playoffs in a 12 team league, maybe as the wildcard............

I think Kyle and Jamaal took this draft down.
Both have great RB depth and i think Edwards will have a bounce back year for kyle. Jamaal is stacked at WR too.
Weaknesses: Both have shallow WR depth and may need to resort to waivers for bye week fill ins

I think Bills team is the team to beat!

with T Jones and poss Ray Rice providing needed backup at RB this team is solid.

Ryan is only gettting better with experience and adding Tony Gonzalez gives him another solid weapon. Ocho has something to prove and TO is, well TO - solid numbers even with all the drama. Moss has Brady back and Addai and Portis are studs barring injury. Would recommend grabbing a proven middle of the road receiver to add depth but other than that look for that team to go far.

James team looks pretty good with his starters listed below:

But Jamey your squad is better with Matt Schaub QB, Steve Slaton RB, LenDale White RB, Calvin Johnson WR, & Brandon Marshall WR.

You & James would definitely make it to the Championship game.
