Any Hardcore Rap (not Hip Hop) Fans

What it do, What it is people??

Are there any Hardcore Rap Fans??

People who enjoy Lil' Wayne, Jadakiss, Styles P, Eminem, J-Hood, Cassidy, Papoose, Young Jeezy, Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, G-Unit, Murder Mook, Juelz Santana, Rick Ross, B.G., Busta Rhymes,  etc.....

If you are a Hardcore Rap Fan, I'd love to hear about what you listen to and what you think about it...

Also, new music out there that I have no clue about will help...

I'm tired of people like LL Cool J, KRS-One(god I hate that guy), and others talking about "Pure Hip Hip"...

So give the hardest spittin' Rap legends of today their own genre...

The "Get Money" Genre

I like what you have to say Kettler, minus the part about Kanye. Most of his albums feel like they were designed to be mainstream rather than actual rap. Plus, he is a straight nut case. I love Lupe's albums, but I wouldn't think to mention him on here as "hardcore" rap. I've seen the guy in concert, and he really knows how to put on a show. I noticed there wasn't much mention about Common or Mos Def on here either, and I figured for the same reason. Back in highschool, I used to bang out N.W.A. non stop. Outkast was downright sick back in the day, and of course you have 2Pac, Biggie, and Jay-Z, who all had solid rapping careers. Nas wasn't too bad at all in concert either. He dropped the ball with that QB's Finest garbage, but he had some pretty dope albums back in the day.

Let's get this right, first of all. All these new "rap" artist are garbage. Your TI's and your Young Geezy's. Come on. This shit ain't rap.

I stand my all time favorite quote. The rap game died with BIG and 2PAC.

We do have some vet's trying to keep it going but it's not the same. You got your Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, UGK (RIP PIMP C)......

The only new cats that get props from me are Kanye, Ludacris, and of course, the greatest cat to come out since BIG and 2PAC - LUPE FIASCO.

Took me a sec to get hip to LUPE but I'm telling you what, this dude is iller than anyone in the game right now!

I've been a hip hop fam since I was like 12 or 13. My brother raised me on this shit. I know HIP HOP. And there is nothing I love more.

That's why I can't wait to see the Kanye: Glow in the Dark tour!!!!!

I agree South Bay.  This could be argued endlessly.

I would have to say that Aquemeni was the better of the three but Southernplayalistic was our intro to them boys from Decatur so that's a close second.

I don't see any mention of Jay-Z. Purposely?

I think Lil Wayne has got the "Get Money" genre on lock.

All i listen to are mix cd's. I love the old school so im biased on some of the newer sounds. Not feeling the new Rick Ross, even though "Boss" song is pimpin' .  But pretty much what everyone else has up is good. Give me a few, i gotta send you guys some links.. By the way, damn im cold  is clean, my boy just put me on to that last week during a poker game. And the link i got to go find has that Weezy kind of singing. Not really singing, but flippin his style like usuall. Definitly running things right now..   O-ya, yall forgot about outkast. You Andre 3000 one of the best lyricist of our lifetimes. Damn i cant stop talking now.....

I got a question, Which outkast album is the better of the three? Aquemini, Atliens, Or sutherplayalisticatilacmusik? I can argue all day on this topic.....
