This week's games:

#14 Georgia Tech at #20 Miami

* Saturday *

Boston College (2-0) at Clemson (1-1)

#8 California at Minnesotta (2-0)

Louisville (1-0) at Kentucky (1-0)

#18 Utah at Oregon (1-1)

#19 Nebraska at #13 Virginia Tech

Arizona (2-0) at Iowa (2-0)

Connecticut (1-1) at Baylor (1-0)

#17 Cincinnati at Oregon State (2-0)

Florida State (1-1) at #7 BYU

West Virginia (2-0) at Auburn (2-0)

#23 Georgia at Arkansas (1-0)

My Picks : 9-3

We've seen each team in a big game recently as far as exposure, tech in the thursday game, Miami in the Monday night game. tech started hot and finished cold. lucky to hold on for the win. miami won in a back and forth game but was pretty consistent. that said I have to go with Tech. The ACC always kills me Miami looked better so I have to go with Tech.

lol, guess I overthought it. Miami should win so I go with tech? dumb Foot in mouth

Alright Boston College played Northeast ern and beat them 54-0. I almost thought it said northwestern. they also played Kent St. allowed 7 points in that one. but really how tough is kent state? they scored 18 on Coastal Carolina. I think that thier lack of a true test is going to bite them here. Clemson has stud defensive lineman and those BC guys have faced nothing near them thus far this year. Turnovers early help clemson get a lead and we saw the offense pull it together in the second half against Miami.

Ugly game but a win none-the-less. Hopefully the last time I have to pick Clemson

Close wins over Air Force and Syracuse dont show me much. Cal is just too potent offensively for Minnesota to keep up.

Best just got nasty, Minnesotta did better than I expected though

Alright this is the first test for each of these schools. However I do know that Miami (OH) usually has a solid squad, and the MAC can put up some points so Kentucky shutting them out is significant. A guy i went to school with plays DE for Kentucky and the D is what I think makes the difference.

Close game, another W for me though, I'm on a roll!!!!

I'm a little put off by the fact that Utah only beat San Jose St. 24-14 when USC beat them 56-3. I did see that they fumbled the ball away twice though. Oregon, well we all know about them losing their best player. They had a tough win against Purdue in their last game also with turnover issues. They allowed a ton of yards though. This is a tough call for me. I dont trust the utah offense as much as I would have and the D has been alright but not what I expected. Oregon pulls the upset and snaps Utah's streak of 16 straight.

Streak snapped . . .Cool

well, Nebraska has looked awesome against nobody teams . . . Va Tech looked good against Bama, and destroyed Marshall. Marshall being more respectable than Arkansas st. and Florida Atlantic. Another tough call. Wish I had actually seen Nebraska. They have the better QB but I think Tech is the better overall team. Hokies pull it out with D . . . and special teams of course.

Touchdown in the final seconds, How about that . . .

Man, I put together a tough slate here lol. Alright neither has really played anybody. I personally know more about the Cats. More specifically that they have a good running back. the hawkeyes run D looks week. Allowing the Iowa St. back to run for 100 yards on 19 carries when we all know Iowa St. would suck in the FCS. Cats it is.

I expected this to be closer if Iowa won. There's a miss

Baylor beat wake forest two weeks ago in a close one. Uconn lost to UNC in a close one this past week. I think NC is slightly better than Wake but that only means that this should be a decent game. the Uconn run D is stout and thier pass D is just a step below that. fortunately for Baylor they can do both. I almost want to go with Baylor but my gut is telling me to go against that and take the Huskies.

Score one for the Gut!

Easy call for me this time. The Bearcats offense has been unstoppable thus far this season. I dont see that changing any time soon. That, plus the close call for oregon St. against UNLV gives me the beardcats easy.

I said it was an easy call, and they won so I dont look like an idiot lol

everybody knows these non-BCS schools dont get caught sleeping against BCS schools. Max Hall has had an extra week to get his rythm going since that Oklahoma game. and Jacorry Harris threw all over FSU's D so why can't Hall. Plus State was unimpressive to say the least against Jacksonville st.

wow, doubt anybody saw that coming

This is not an SEC homer pick. Auburn appears to have something offensively this year, and we all know the Defense is there. I pickekd ECU to beat WV last week. I'll bet against them again and see how it goes.

Auburn worked out for me, good stuff baby!

If you havent caught on yet I have trouble picking a team that hasnt played anybody to win . . . Georgia has played to tough teams and Arkansas one cupcake. I have to take the dogs.

and my theory didnt come back to bite me this time, good stuff. What's up with Georgia and these shootouts though?

Bib's College Pick 'em 2: Round 3

Boston College (2-0) at Clemson (1-1) - BC has played nobody and Clemson has a loss sooo...I go with BC because I don't think I have ever picked Clemson and don't want to pick them here.

#8 California at Minnesotta (2-0) - Cal has an unstoppable running back, also the Best RB, and Minny has close wins over Syracuse? Air Force?  Easy.

Louisville (1-0) at Kentucky (1-0) - Kentucky was decent a year ago, while Lousiville has really fallen off lately.  I know the cats lost their QB to the NFL, but their defense should easily stop a weak Cardinal team.

#18 Utah at Oregon (1-1) - I want to pick Utah here!  But soon as I pick against my team, they win.  Dilemna...pick Utah, my team wins, and I get this wrong.  Or pick Oregon, then my team will lose, and I am still wrong.  Arrrgh, this is completely against my morals, but I pick Utah.  Its so tempting to grab the Ducks, watch them win, then laugh at all the people who thought Utah had it.  But my final answer locked in.

#19 Nebraska at #13 Virginia Tech - Why is Nebraska ranked?  I'm waiting to watch them get thrashed by VT.

Arizona (2-0) at Iowa (2-0) - Iowa's D is like a wet paper bag.  Zona's Grigsby runs all over them.

Connecticut (1-1) at Baylor (1-0) - Baylor used to be the punchline of the Big 12.  Not that they are elite or anything now, but they're not pushovers now.  I'll take them at home.

#17 Cincinnati at Oregon State (2-0) - Oregon State always starts slowly.  They haven't lost yet this year, and are playing a hot team Cincy.  However, the home and home thing usually results in a split, and I can see the streak breaking here.

Florida State (1-1) at #7 BYU - Easy pick.  BYU is one of the best teams in the country, Florida ST just another overrated also-ran.  I do admire the Noles for having the balls to go to Utah to play BYU, but this plan ends in exposure and...failure.

West Virginia (2-0) at Auburn (2-0) - Auburn has no D, they try to play along to the myth that the SEC all has good defense by playing garbage teams to start the season.  Their first true test shows their true colors.

#23 Georgia at Arkansas (1-0) - Georgia has not looked good this year, but I know nothing about Arkansas, so I'll stay safe.

Bib's College Pick 'em 2: Round 3

14 Georgia Tech at #20 Miami - Tough game for both. GT coming off the blown, then saved win at home vs. us and Miami off a riavlry game. I like GT to control the game with their ground attack. Get up on Miami and then be able to hold the lead this time.

* Saturday *

Boston College (2-0) at Clemson (1-1)- We'll rebound at home vs. a BC team (hometown vs. school?) who hasn't proven much yet and I still think is beginning what will be a decline from a nice strectch these last 5-6 years.

#8 California at Minnesotta (2-0- Cal. Offense is way too explosive for a feeble Minnesota defense.

Louisville (1-0) at Kentucky (1-0)- Rivalry between 2 teams I haven't seen enough? I'll take the home team.

#18 Utah at Oregon (1-1)- They're not the NC contenders of 08' or 04' but they're still damn good.

#19 Nebraska at #13 Virginia Tech- Nebraska's on the rise to prominence again, but not there yet. VT by double digits.

Arizona (2-0) at Iowa (2-0)- Hurts going against my basketball school and former favorite CFB team before coming to Clemson but I think they're 2-0 is fraudulent. Maybe if this were at home.

Connecticut (1-1) at Baylor (1-0)- Tough loss vs. UNC at home makes this trip even tougher.

#17 Cincinnati at Oregon State (2-0)- Like the Beavers and their ground attack to overcome a so-far explosive Cincy offense.

Florida State (1-1) at #7 BYU- This is probably the week FSU wakes up and screws me but they've looked abysmal so far and BYU is for real, win or lose.

West Virginia (2-0) at Auburn (2-0)- Again, two teams I haven't seen enough of. Gotta go with the SEC against WVU.

#23 Georgia at Arkansas (1-0)- I know it was South Carolina but they looked better last week. Still not sold on them as a Top 25 team but they're recovering from Stillwater.
