Alright here's how this is going to go. I'll come up with 12 games of interest every week for you all to choose from. You'll pick the winners and post them here or on the thread, whether you post them here or not, I will add them to the blog to make them easy to keep up with. I try to pick games between teams in the top 25, or in the other's recieving votes but then I move to teams with winning records then .500 records, and all teams are FBS.

Anybody is welcome to join in at any time, dont worry about missing a week if you decide to join late.

Good Luck!

not a lot of good games this week . . . I only really like 5 but the rest should be close so . . .

This week's games:

(Rankings Reflect AP rankings)

Wisconsin (4-0) at Minnesota (3-1)  31-28

Kansas St. (2-2) at Iowa St. (3-1) 24-23

UCLA (3-0) at Stanford (3-1) 16-24

Washington (2-2) at Notre Dame (3-1) 30-37 OT

NC State (3-1) at Wake Forest (2-2) 24-30

Florida State (2-2) at Boston College (3-1) 21-28

#4 LSU at #18 Georgia 20-13

Oregon St. (2-2) at Arizona St. (2-1) 28-17

Auburn (4-0) at Tennessee (2-2) 26-22

#7 USC at #24 California 30-3

#8 Oklahoma at #17 Miami 20-21

Colorado St. (3-1) at Idaho (3-1) 29-31

My Picks : 4-8

Perhaps one of the toughest games this week. both have had close games against good teams and bad teams, Wisconsin has the one blowout win over Wofford but that means nothing. I am going to go with Wisconsin, they seem to be a bit more well-rounded.

Quite the finish but Wisconsin held on, 6 straight years with the Ax Laughing

I'll go with the Seminoles, I dont trust BC to score against thier D but I'm sure the Noles can score against them.

last time I pick Florida St. . .

got to go with Iowa State. Kansas state barely beat Massachusetts (who I didnt even know had a football team) and lost to Louisiana-Lafayette. Yes they put up 49 on Tenessee Tech but seriously??? is that a community college? they play an intramural team?

Kansas state comeback . . . boo

Should be a good game. I think I'm going to go with Stanford, they have a pretty good home record over the past couple of years.

Stanford took care of business Laughing

Not only do I hate the Irish but they are banged up. Washington is coming off of a disappointing loss and are looking to bounce back. I like thier chances

well locker and his boys had a chance in OT but came up short

I'm going to take the Wolfpack. After my Gamecocks held them TD-less they apparently fixed the kinks and they've been scoring at a solid clip ever since. Wake, I like Skinner but their bad luck continues and they fall here.

so they have late wins and 2 late losses . . . Wake is dangerous in the pick 'em

Another tough one. I hate knowing more about one team than the other. Neither looks that impressive to me on paper, they both have some close games against teams they werent supposed to have them against. who to choose who to choose . . . Georgia has two lucky wins already. . . I think their streak continues.

Damn those Georgia dogs and their celebrations!!!

Arizona St. didnt look too bad against Georgia last week. They're the home team, I think they can score, Might be close but I think they pull it out. That UNLV game is still killing Oregon St. for me.

Alright I dont know why everybody thought Tennessee was good because they beat Western Kentucky 63-7. They cant score, Auburn on the other hand can. Yet they allow points but like I said, Tennessee cant score. Auburn is an easy choice for me.

that's 3 . . .Laughing

Carrol didnt want Mark Sanchez to leave for a reason, the USC offense is not what we know it as. Throw on top of it that they just lost (I hate to say it) one of their Running backs, blah blah blah emotions, whatever. Cal needs a bounce back game. and I think it's time for Barkley to have his "welcome to the Pac-10" game and have a few turnovers.

Cal has let me down 2 weeks in a row

alright no Bradford, but that would have scared me anyway because I dont know where he is right now. Oklahoma's D shut down a pretty explosive Tulsa team this past week and Landry Jones has taken care of business ( yes I know against nobodies). Miami's D looks like it may not be as good as I may have thought. I think the tough schedule catches up with them. If Miami can get jones to mess up early they can take the game though . . . not a disclaimer, just my opinion.

Miami got a fumble and scored with a short field . . . that's why they won in my opinion. Both defenses played well

Idaho lost at Washington, by the same score that Colorado St. lost to BYU. I think BYU is better than Washington but I dont know how much better . . . Idaho has a very efficient offense, if the rams let Weber St. hang with them, why not the Vandals?

Thank you! I needed this bad I was close to dropping out of the Pick 'ems lol Laughing

Bib's College Pick 'em 2: Round 5

Wisconsin (4-0) at Minnesota (3-1) - Don't know much about either of these teams, but the Big Ten teams usually don't usually look good, so don't expect Wisky to stay undefeated for long.

Florida State (2-2) at Boston College (3-1) - Both of these teams are big mysteries.  How can Florida State walk into BYU's stadium and blow them out, and then go home to lose to an unranked team?  Which Noles will show up?  BC has dominated 3 cupcakes but lost easily to the first decent team they played, so I'll put my money on the Noles.  Noles win the away games.

Kansas St. (2-2) at Iowa St. (3-1) - Both of these teams are so bad, which should make for a good game right?

UCLA (3-0) at Stanford (3-1) - UCLA really is not that good, honestly.  People on the East Coast overrate them because they beat the Vols and all, but that's just the SEC is not as good as you all think.  Stanford should win again at home.

Washington (2-2) at Notre Dame (3-1) - Really tempted to pick Washington.  I just don't think they can pull off two upsets in a row though.

NC State (3-1) at Wake Forest (2-2) - The ACC seems determined to keep everyone with the same number of wins, so lets even the teams records.

#4 LSU at #18 Georgia - Why is Georgia ranked?  They are just not a very good team.  They end up getting in shootouts with everyone.  What's up with that?  But for some reason I am tempted to pick them.  Can't, because next week they need to hype the Florida-LSU game with both teams unbeaten.  LSU losing would take some of the luster off.

Oregon St. (2-2) at Arizona St. (2-1) - I can't seem to figure out Oregon ST, even when I think I have them figured out.  Arizona ST is coming off a really close loss to the Dawgs in the Dawg House, whatever they call it, I think they make it over the hump here.

Auburn (4-0) at Tennessee (2-2) - Heart of SEC football season, and Auburn's undefeated record came against crap teams.  They get that first loss against a decent but below average Vols team where the biggest thing going for them is Lane Kiffin.

#7 USC at #24 California - You would think USC's toughest test of the season would be here in Berkeley vs the Bears right?  Well, they already had their toughest test, in Washington.  They don't slip and fall twice.  No more mistakes from the Trojans.  Look for them to run over Cal to support Stafon Johnson, who is in the hospital and recovering from a nasty slip of a barbell.  When Cal slips, they keep slipping, like last year when they were #2, then went on to lose 5? consecutive games.

#8 Oklahoma at #17 Miami  - Will Bradford come back?  That's everyone's question.  Looks like this could be the game of the week.  I'll just go off of luck and my gut, with the Sooners winning.  Miami is not back to the upper echelon of teams yet, and if its Landry Jones, he's been plenty capable enough to lead them to TDs.

Colorado St. (3-1) at Idaho (3-1) - Silly game to be in here.  Bib just wants to make his pick of Colorado ST the other week look good.  Idaho is a nothing team and will get killed.

Bib's College Pick 'em 2: Round 5

Wisconsin (4-0) at Minnesota (3-1) - Minnesota takes Paul Bunyan's axe at home

Florida State (2-2) at Boston College (3-1) - Boston College by a field goal, Florida Sate is just too Jeckyl and Hyde to pick but they are the more talented team.

Kansas St. (2-2) at Iowa St. (3-1) - Iowa State with home field advantage

UCLA (3-0) at Stanford (3-1) - UCLA on the road

Washington (2-2) at Notre Dame (3-1) - Notre Dame, the golden domers deflate Washington

NC State (3-1) at Wake Forest (2-2) - NC State take the road W

#4 LSU at #18 Georgia - Georgia defends their home turf and gets the win

Oregon St. (2-2) at Arizona St. (2-1) - The  Sun Devils burn the beavers

Auburn (4-0) at Tennessee (2-2) - Auburn continues it's undefeated streak and beats Lane Kiffin and the Vols

#7 USC at #24 California - USC rebounds and continues the Cal tailspin

#8 Oklahoma at #17 Miami - Oklahoma knocks Miami out of the top 25

Colorado St. (3-1) at Idaho (3-1) - Colorado St locks horns and rams the vandals for the victory
