Today is March 21st.  Yesterday was the first day in a couple of weeks, that the entire ground was visible.  All the miscolored snow, piled high on either side of my driveway had finally melted.  During the past week,  I enjoyed temperatures spanning the 40's, and even 51 on Tuesday.   I returned my sticks back to their summer home...  my trunk...  anticipating, at the very least, a trip to the OUTDOOR range.  OOHHH YEAAAH!  NO? HUH? WHAT? 3 TO 6 WHAT?  ARRRGGGHHH!!!

MI is expecting one of it's "unexpected" snow squalls to come busting through here later today.  To start around 3 pm.  3-6 inches.  Cold, blustery winds.  Gray skies. (sigh)

Looks like the only stick I'll be playing with is the one attached to my snow shovel...

It is TEE TIME...just not for me.

Still whining in MI...

Thanks for the Easter wishes.

I got to see the course today.  My new avatar is a picture of two of the tree carvings at the entrance.  I took my family to the Golf Club for Easter Brunch.  It was nice to sit and look at the course, even though it was under snow.  It is melting quickly.  Hip, Hip...

Hope you are having (or had) a great day too!

Fairways and Greens,

Tee Time ETA - March 29th (pushing, but I am an optimist!)

By All Means  --  a Happy Easter To Everyone.

Weather::  ::  When we live where we live, we must accept the weather we receive.  After all, we decided to live where we live.  Plummerz you're lucky to live in a "two-snowthrower" location this year.  I've filled my gas can three times, and hooping th last is what I get to pour on last years weed crop.

I haven't even seen the course yet this year.... I didn't want to fuel the fire quite yet; but I'll bet the course still has snow drifts five feet deep.  I've been there earlier spring, and its not a pretty sight.

I just learned we have one of those swing analysis centers opening around us this spring... in fact my son will be interviewing their as an instructor.  If things work-out in his favor [ and I'm strongly praying that hey do ] I'll give you feed-back on the quality and value of the product as delivered.

UMHULA = =   Very Nice Blog ..

Again, I hope everyone enjoys the days,

March 22 -

The weather prognosticators got it wrong again!  3-6 HAH!  We got 7!  Well it looks beautiful.  May as well enjoy it.  No sense in moping about.  I will take my two boys sledding, hopefully for the last time this season.  Both are looking forward to the range, but enjoy sledding much more at this young stage of their lives.

For those of you golfing today, fairways and greens.  Hope to be joining you soon.

Thanks for the nice words of encouragement..  ..  ..  .. but if I were you , and I had a chance to move to Maui . . . . threats of stones couldn't keep me away.   That's one place I'd chance being stoned..... besides, the locals might enjoy the oddity of it all.   I was once south of Atlanta when it snowed, and all the locals thought it was so great ... they went outside and built snow angels and snowmen.  It was interesting watching mature adults look like little children of joy.

Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy the weekend..

You're almost as bad as  the  POLISHLOOPER . . . .  he left his Michigan home and is enjoying the beaches and hiking trails of St. Thomas..

................   do you guys like kicking us when we're down..??

Well dg, to be honest, I'm originally from PA so I have endured my share of snow (and blizzards).  One of the reasons I moved south to my husband and he didn't move north to me was because we both had our fill of snow.  Now that being said.  I had moved to SC in July 1999.  Was told they rarely got bad weather in the winter and if it did snow, it was gone by 10am.  Well that winter just happened to be the winter they got 3-6 inches of snow here at 3pm in the afternoon.  It wasn't a pretty sight.

The next year was snow...then we won't talk about the ice storm that hit one year that knocked out our power for a week.

My husband refuses to move us to Maui because he doesn't want to risk having the locals stone me because the snow followed me there.

Your damage is done.   No amount of "flowers" can save you now.

Actually, I live in the "Snow-Belt" area just east of Cleveland.... trust me, we're used to it here.  I try to defray the feelings by visiting the golf shops here......I've been to the local Golf Galaxy so many times, they know my name now.   The PolishLooper resides in western MI, and he's been on the links or at the dome a couple of times....  color me .... ENVIOUS on both of you ..... not to mention IHO.

Enjoy the trip to the links .... I'll catch-up sometime around mid-April .  .  .  .  [ I hope ].
