I think I am going to change my mind. I agree with you CG I also think Miami will take Jake Long first.  But, Glenn Dorsey is going to be a stud. Hopefully he drops to #30 so the Packers can draft him. If not hopefully McFadden will drop to #30. I will take either, they both are pretty good

Detroit has done well with their running back picks, so let us Lions fans hope that you are right and he turns out well since we need a

running back again.

i feel like, in a hypothetical world where the chiefs are on the clock with mcfadden still available, one of two things would happen. either herm edwards would get his way and they would select the best player available not necessarily intrinsically tied to need [mcfadden] or carl would straight up override him and they'd trade down. they do need to beef up that o line and clady would be a hell of a pick but i don't think even carl peterson would reach for him in the top five of the draft. he could trade down, still get his man later, and pick up an extra day one pick. i just don't know how likely it is that herm would get his way that they refuse to trade down but not his way that the best player in the draft gets picked..and nobody's got clady over mcfadden on their draft boards.

CG nice first round mock draft...not sure the Chiefs will pick Ryan Clady with their 5th pick they may go after Vernon Gholston since it looks like Jarred Allen is on the trading block. My gut says the Patriots will pick either Keith Rivers or Vernon Gholston can't see them reaching for Albert with the #7 overall pick when their defense is as old as dirt. Steelers will not go after Calasis Campbell he stock has slipped a ton showed up out of shape this year for the Canes and also was out of shape at the NFL combine and Miami Pro Day. Look for the Steelers to go after Gosder Cherilus or James Hardy.

Other then that looks pretty good to me...I'll have my 4 round mock draft ready Thursday.

great job cg!  Man you're really on the ball.  Looks pretty good.  I think C Long and M Ryan may be out of place but hey no one really knows till draft day.  If one team trades up it throws the whole thing out of whack.  I think I'll lay back wait for the results.  I've got first pick in my fantasy draft this year so I'm waiting to see where McFadden goes and if he'll start right away.

by the way ...... what college does cg refer too

Very good Mock Draft. I could see Kansas City selecting Matt Ryan if he falls to them and New Orleans selecting Cromartie though.
