BCS Conference Champions

Ok now that I have released my early top 10 I will give you guys my predictions on the conference champions of each BCS conference.

ACC: Coastal Champ-  Virginia Tech Hokies

          Atlantic Champ- Clemson Tigers

Conference Champ: Clemson Tigers- They seem to have everything going for them, from what I can tell they have back almost all of their impact players from last year. Don't count out VT though...

Big 12: North Divison- Missouri Tigers

              South Division- Oklahoma Sooners

Conference Champion: Oklahoma Sooners- I see them winning this rematch of last years title game also. They were able to handle the spread of Mizzou last year and it will happen again.

Big East: West Virginia Mountaineers- This team has Pat White back and Noel Devine will step up and fill the shoes of Slaton. I really don't see them having much competition in this league. South Florida and mayyybe Pittsburgh on the road will be obstacles.

Big Ten: Ohio State Buckeyes- A team similar to WVU in the fact it appears to be head and shoulders above the league. Only 2 tests as far as I am concerned are Wisconsin and Illinois. I believe both of these games are on the road so an upset could happen.

Pacific 10: Southern California Trojans- There are some good up and coming teams in the Pac 10 but none on the level of this trojans team. Possble losses include: Arizona State, and Oregon (possibly OSU because it is on the road).

SEC: East Champion- Georgia Bulldogs

          West Champion- Auburn Tigers

Champion: Georgia Bulldogs- Georgia will win the SEC based off of their tremendous balance offensively and defensively. Auburn makes it to this game partly on their talent and partly on their schedule. Watch out for Florida though it won't be a surprise if they end up in this game instead of Georgia.

Keep in mind that I have not included any risky out of conference games that the teams will face because that does not pertain to conference. Please keep in mind these are my honest, as unbiased as possible predictions. This being said what do you guys think?

BCS Conference Champions

To tell you the truth I really don't know very much about Rhodes (D-coordinator) outside of the fact he shut down WVU last year. I imagine they have to take a step back with Muschamp gone. Their offense will probably rely on how well Kodi Burns plays because he seems to be the prototype for the spread offense. If their game against Clemson is an indicator their offense will probably take a step forward this year assuming Burns plays up to his potential. Some Auburn fans might correct me on a few things here but these are just my observations...

Do you think Auburn's new offensive and defensive coordinators will have an effect on their outcome this year?

I don't think they will go undefeated in conference either... However I do think they will only lose one of those and still make the SEC championship. Florida's defense makes me little iffy on them. It just seemed like last year they couldn't get the stops they absolutely had to have to win a couple of ballgames. I don't see Tennessee winning it and I also don't really see South Carolina having enough firepower to win the East.

Alabama's schedule is pretty tough in my opinion. We have Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas all on the road. Auburn only has Mississippi State, and Bama as their tough road games in conference. Mississippi State has Tennesee, LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss on the road. Using tough Road games as a measuring stick it seems as though Auburn has the easiest road to Atlanta. LSU seems to have the toughest schedule in the West with Georgia, @Auburn, @Florida, @South Carolina, Alabama at home, and Miss State at home.

Comparing schedules it looks to me like Auburn will head to Atlanta. Of course schedules really don't matter if one team doesn't show up does it? :D

I agree with the ACC. I think it will be Virginia Tech that wins the Coastal and Clemson wins the Atlantic. The SEC West I think will be either Miss. St., Alabama, or Auburn. I'm saying those three because of the SEC schedule they have. I don't see Georgia going undefeated nor being in the SEC Championship. I think they'll be like most teams that get ranked high but fall short. Don't be surprise if Georgia ends up like Michigan last year. I don't see Georgia beating Florida, Tenn, and South Carolina all in the same year.
