Northern Exposure...

Minneapolis, Minnesota...
Eden Prairie, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome...
The 32 yard line, 50 yards to glory...
5 seconds on the clock, a long 5 seconds...

I've only been a Vikings fan for about 7 years, so this is my first Divisional title and it mean's a lot...
At tthe beginning of the year, this is all I wanted, with Farve moving on, Detroit in disarray and Chicago letting go of all it's Offence, there was no better or easier time to get a North title...
Not that Football or the Vikings ever let you have things the easy way...

So down by 2 points, facing a 50 yarder with 5 seconds left, Tom Coughlin and Chili decide in their infinite wisdom to prolong my, and all other Vikings, agony by calling 3 timeouts...

Yeah, thanks guys, like I needed the time think on the ramifications of a miss...

Thank God for Ryan Longwell...

6 of 6 from 50 yards or more and as the sixth sailed through the uprights...

Oh yeah, it's party time!!!

It feels great to finally be North Champions and with that brings the Play-offs...

But you can stick a fork in me, I'm done...

Whatever the Play-offfs bring, good or bad, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride...

My Vikings are kings of the North and that can't be taken away...

Northern Exposure...

Back to back...
Sounds great...

Back to back NFC North champions...
It feels as good as it did last year but this time we get to ride out the season with 2 games to spare!!!
(Thank you Ben and your 500+ yards!!!)

But thanks to another crushing defeat, a possible bye look's to slipping from our grasp and with the Vikings notorious backing into playoffs, we could be playing Green Bay in the wild cards!!!

At the beginning of the season, I felt the North could produce a seeded team, the Vikings, Bears or Pac...
Who'd have thought Cutler would stink so much!!!
And thanks to the Pac's slow start, the seeded team would likely be us...

But you need to be playing your best football heading into the playoffs and we aren't...
Phili and Green Bay are those teams...
Although, what Dallas did to the Saints and the Giants remembering they're a team that can play both sides of the ball, I wouldn't want to face any of these in the Wild Cards!!!

A win in Chicago could see us in as the No2 but I think we'll be going to the last week against the Giants to secure it...

And I don't fancy taking on the Giants in their current form, trying to get a win...

NFC North champions and possible No2 seed...

Couldn't ask for a better season...

Well, almost couldn't ask for a better season...

How far is Miami?
