2012 MLS Power Rankings - Week 8

Posted on: May 5, 2012 10:01 am

Hey everybody. Sorry for the late post but my night class finals are rolling around and it's ruining my week. Huge day of MLS today with games on NBCSN and ESPN. A bit of editorial housekeeping real quick, a friend of mine recommended that I chance a few of my team abbreviations because they were too similar. So Chicago has changed from CHI to FIRE (so it doesn't confuse anyove with Chivas' CHV) and Toronto was TOR, but is now TFC so it doesn't confuse anyone with Portland's POR. I kept Dallas the same (DAL) because I thought FCD was to close to United's DC and they should be the Dallas BURN anyway.

Enjoy the soccer today (FA Cup Final as well for those interested) and onto the rankings...

2012 MLS Power Rankings - Week 8

Toronto really are having an awful season but Montreal's jump  this week can only be a good sign for the rest of the season and progress.
