Prayers

Posted on: February 17, 2009 3:11 am

A place to encourage members of the CBS Community who come here voluntarily to share positive messages, lift up injured athletes and other important persons in our lives, honor those athletes and individuals who express their faith, and provide support to Community members who seek it in time of need.  Isn't that what a Community does?

This is not a place of debate.  It is a place for positive interaction and assistance to Community members who want to talk sports without obscenities and share hope for our personal growth.

Prayers

Jack, good to see you!  Didn't your Mounties just have another nice win over Notre Dame, another good Big East win?  Think we will see you at the Big Dance?  My Nova Cats will be waiting to dance, too, I think.  Keep moving up!

God bless you,

Sissy

Prayers

Lord, please reach Your loving hand and protect Gabriel Mendoza.  Lord, You know all things, and Your arm is not too short to save.  Please give him care and safety and return him to his family.  Speak Your peace to his family and friends as they await his return.  Give guidance to the border guards and investigators who may be searching for him.  We entrust him to Your mercy and grace and pray You return him to his family in Jesus' name, Amen

Prayers

Hey Sis, You and Anita both are in my prayers.

Romans 8:30-32 (New American Standard Bible)

30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Romans 8:38-39 (New American Standard Bible)

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to seperate us from the Love of God, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Satan is full of lies, and the trials that he puts us through to break us, the Lord uses to strengthen us and others.

Prayers

Hello Friends,

Please lift up gabriel mendoza. Pray for saftey and that he will come home. Gabriel is a friends father-in-law. He has been missing since Sunday. He was last seen crossing the border into Reynosa, Mexico. If any of you know what is going on in the border towns you know this is a very scary situation. Thank you

Prayers

Good morning and God's richest blessings to you all!  Good to see you Jack, Conagers, Michael, Mark, Stu, and all who come here.  Mark, thanks for the lyrics--what is the title and who does the song?  Michael, great job as always with the VOD.  Jack, thanks for the prayers for Anita.

Lord, we lift all those who seek healing, those who seek financial stability, those who face important life choices.  We praise You for the improvement in health and the answered prayers of job seekers.  We thank You for Your comfort and strength and grace and mercy given to all who seek Your face with humble and pure hearts, knowing that You will not turn away from those who seek You in truth and spirit.  We pray for the persecuted church in the world, for our troops, our government, and our fellowship.  In Jesus' name, Amen

Prayers

These lyrics really speak to me - Thought I would share.....Mark

Many men will drink the rain
And turn to thank the clouds
Many men will hear You speak
But they will never turn around

I will not forget You are my God, my King
And with a thankful heart I bring my offering
And my sacrifice is not what You can give
But what I alone can give to you

A grateful heart I give, A thankful prayer I pray,
A wild dance I dance before you
A loud song I sing, A huge bell I ring,
A life of praise I live before You

Many men will pour their gold
And serve a thing that shines
Many men will read your words
But they will never change their minds

I will not forget You are my God, my King
And with a thankful heart I bring my offering
And my sacrifice is not what You can give
But what I alone can give to you
