The Greatest College Team Needs A Stadium!

Well while I am not going to doubt the tradition at Nebraska because it's no doubt sold out more consecutive home games over the past 1/2 century. Since 1962. So the tradition is there however there stadium is not super intimidating like the Swamp,Death Vally(LSU), or Jorden Hare (Auburn)

Lsu has a pretty loud crowd and is the one of the most crazy places in football. No doubt I have been there 4 times 3 of which when Florida played and it's really fun.

Jorden Hare and Auburn just seems to get the better half of the Gators recently. Fun place to be as the fans are generally nice other than every bad apple in every crowd.

Neyland which I have been to 6 times is really orange. Loud but I can really tell a difference between it and the SWAMP or DV(LSU) I will say one thing and its that TENN. by far has some of the HOTTEST/CUTEST woman on the earth. No Doubt in my mind.

Now Ben Hill Griffen Stadium at Florida Field aka "THE SWAMP" Has to be the most electric place in all of college football. Week in and week out The Swamp is definatly the place to be in Florida. I know several FSU fans and 1 Cane fan who although are not true fans cause there traders. Traded on their favorite team after their first game in the Swamp. Why else would NCAA Football (Video Game) put the SWAMP as the #1 toughest stadium year after year.

Oh! log on to and check out for yourself under the segment "The GUYS" listen to what Chris Fowler has to say. The Way it was Constructed BABY! Here's some quick info on the Swamp

Now Lincoln Nebraska/ Memorial Stadium has sold out every home game since 1962 as noted the Swamp has sold out every home game since 1989 so I'm not doubting Nebraska has had a longer tradition than Florida but has the stadium been more electrifying.

Nope I don't Think So!
; &nbs
p; MY VOTE IS FOR THE SWAMP ALL THE WAY. GO TO A GAME AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND.

P.S. like I did give some info behind your stadium.

The Greatest College Team Needs A Stadium!

This is a tough one. There are more than a dozen stadiums I could put up for this one. Most of them have been named.

I also think Texas A&M, Tennessee and Texas are both great venues. I was just at Auburn. Awesome.

As mentioned, some of the atmosphere has to do with the contest you're witnessing. Some stadiums are better in the day and others better at night.

I've been to more games at the LA Coliseum than any other stadium, but it just doesn't rank with the others.

LSU is a great night stadium. The fans provide plenty of "atmosphere." They are "ROWDY", yes -- in a BAD way.

The Rose Bowl is a great day stadium. Great site lines, big, loud -- but not on a regular basis. Twice a year (UCLA vs.USC and bowl game) isn't enough.

I'll have to go with,

Notre Dame Stadium (more on atmosphere and tradition).

The sellouts speak for themselves. There is no other College Stadium that can make the same claim to the record sellout at Memorial Stadium. Every team has its ups and downs, but the stadium in which they play is at question here. More teams have made statements that the fans at Nebraska are the best fans in College football. Those same fans fill Memorial Stadium each and every week there is a home game. This has happened 294 times and there is no end in sight. They just added more seats to Memorial Stadium two years ago and those sets are sold out. They could add another 30,000 seats and they would sell them out every year.

The Big house and Notre Dame Stadium are great stadiums and they have great tradition there too, but I have to give my vote to Memorial Stadium.

GO BIG RED

its got to be the sea of red MEMORIAL STADIUM!. 300 consecutive sellouts really soon, by far the record, the best fans in the world reside here. its not the biggest stadium, but its the best and has great history. otherwise, i would say the rose bowl. but not the swamp, what history does the swamp have? its been tough to win there lately, but it didnt use to be before spurrier showed up.

"usually stupid MAINLY crazy", you are a worn out act. The sheer numbers are too vast for your limited intelligence to assimilate and accept. Your takes have no validity. Just like the morons who posted "Pete Carroll" for all time greatest coach. They actually believe the manure they are shoveling, just like you. Go away pea brain, you bother me son.

Your right everyone is clueless when you come on attacking everyone else' vote. Take your 1 vote back to your boards and try to rally support for a program that has lost any national interest. The only time anyone cares about a game in Lincoln is when a real team plays there, and by that I mean a team other than Nebraska. You fired the first shots buddy and right now you are correct Nebraska doesn't compare to about 40 programs in the nation.....

like I said you are the one attacking peoples votes....

get over it........... nobody cares about Nebraska anymore.........
