Carl Pavano's comments today won't exactly patch up his relationship with New Yorkers:

"When you're down, you expect your organization to pick you up, not kick you when you're down.  I've had to pick myself up quite a few times the last four years."

Carl Pavano  is a IDIOT.  he  was  happy  enough  taking  the  Yankees  money and  doing  nothing  for  it. I lost  all  respect for  him  when  the  Yankees  planned on  him  coming  back  ,  they  had  him  schedule  to  start a  game  and  a  day  before  the  start  he  admits  he  had  been  in a  car  accident  and  hurt  his  ribs..  which  put  him  back  on the  DL. He only came  back  at  the  end  of  the 4th  year  just  so  he  could  pitch  alittle  and  show  some  clubs  that  he  can  still pitch (  when  he  wants to pitch) And  now  he  is  basicly  talking  trash  about  the  Yankees  not  picking  him  up  when  he  is  having a  bad  season.

Well said Champion!  Also, when you have $40 million, if the Yankees didn't pick him up, pay somebody else to.  He's not getting any sympathy from me.  He robbed the Yankees -- then he cries about.  SPOILED ATHLETE INDEED!

I fail to see how making $40 million classifies you as being down.  I also fail to see how an organization paying you $40 million and provided you with the best medical care available to do almost nothing has done anything but pick you up.  Talk about a spoiled athlete.  He now deserves any injury he gets but he doesn't deserve to be a multi-millionaire.
