Angels like Lee but will the Indians trade him?

The L.A. Daily News reports the Angels next target for pitching help is Cleveland ace Cliff Lee.

The Indians are believed to want an abundance of pitching in return for Lee. However,  a source with inside knowledge of Indians dealings said the team is in no hurry to move Lee. The Indians have a club option on Lee for next season at $9 million and seem certain to exercise that if they do not trade him.

Cliff Lee is not going anywhere unless someone makes the Indians an offer they cannot refuse, and I don't see that happening.

Lee to the Rangers for three no names would be a waste for the Indians.  The Tribe should hang on to Lee, Martinez, et al unless they are Overwhelmed by a deal.  Who knows?  Cleveland may be in better shape next year and need those guys.  Why don't they try picking up some pitching (Ian Snell?) instead of dealing?

Cliff Lee to the Angles is very unlikely, becuase the Angels lack the upper pitching talent the Indians are looking for.  However, the Indians do like Wood and Rodriguez, but it will not be enough when compared to offers from the Sox, Phillies, Rangers, and Marlins.  The Yankee's are in the same boat as the Angels unless Hughes and Joba are included.  A recent report is Lee going to the Randers for Chris Davis, Smoak, and Feliz.
