Reds will stay quiet.

John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the chances that the Reds would trade any players are prety slim.

Aaron Harang’s appendectomy and Bronson Arroyo's suppliment talk rule out those two.  And that leaves Francisco Cordero, who has a very narrow field of takers.  A team would have to need a closer and have the resources to take on a player who is owed $25 million over the next two years.

Reds will stay quiet.

As great a guy as Harang is, he needs to go before next season rolls around.  He has no place on this young team.  His high salary, health issues, and inconsistencey are signs that it is time for him to move on.  He has been only average and has not even come close to what Cincinnati fans were expecting from him performance wise.  With a team full of youngsters, the only contribution he has to offer is that of a Grade A role model.
