Perrotto's Latest: Sabathia, Bradley

You can forget the Phillies, Red Sox, and Yankeees.  They do not have the minor league talent or MLB ready position players the Cleveland Indians are looking fir.

The Angels, Rays, Dodgers, Cardinals and Cubs are the top suitors.  The Brewers may join the list if they get hot.  However, appears both the Rays and Brewers have the same attitude to their clubs, which is do nothing.

The Rays are happy the team is playing well, but will not likely trade for CC Sabathia.  The clubs feeling is if they make the postseason, they make the postseason.  If not, they can add players during the offseason. The Rays might add some role players down the road if they keep winning, but no impact players.  Makes sense too.  Start the 2009 season with Kamir, Sheilds, Price, and Garza.  Not bad!  And enough young arms to trade for a podition player.

The Brewers feel the same way with LaPorta and Gamel almost ready for the bigs.  They hold pat.
