Remember your very first concert? I do....At the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, CA......went to go see KISS........and they put on one of their legendary shows....amazing! But the kicker for the night was really the opening act...a relatively obscure local band...led by a couple of very young guys named Ronnie Montrose and Sammy Hagar.........Montrose! Needless to say Sammy's career took off......Ronnies did not........but nonetheless a very memorable show! Please feel free to share your ........uh...first!

Your very first...concert!Hey apes, good choice for avatar, now that you can make your own! lol First concert was Motley Crue "Girls Girls Girls" at the Fort Wayne (Indiana) Coliseum. Got a ticket from some buddies because I could drive, and their parents wouldn't let them. Got to see several concerts that way. Man, those were the days. |

Your very first...concert!Hey Apes, My first concert was to go see The Cult at the Centrum in Worcester MA. They happened to be openning for Metalica on the Justice tour. The Cult sucked. I was glad I went though because I had never heard Metallica before, except for One. The show they put on was one of the best I have ever seen and have been a huge fan until Load. Best Show was Kiss when they put the makeup back on at The Fleece Center in Boston. |

Your very first...concert!My first concert was the Violent Femmes in the old Louisville coliseum in 87'. Great show! Got to meet their bass player Brian Ritchie afterwards. A very down to Earth guy. Found out he had relitives in my Indiana hometown. After that I saw numerous concerts. Went to Lollapalooza. I've seen the Dead (3 times) , Jane's Addiction, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, The Toadies, Hum, Creed (in Tallahasse before their first album), White Zombie, Ozzie, Page and Plant, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Filter, Tool, Pantera, AC/DC, Van Halen, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, oh Ice-T and Public Enemy as well. I've seen a lot of those numerous times. Man those were the days. It's been well over 12 years since I've been to a "concert" like that. Wife and kids now. Now my concerts consist of Doodlebops and Blue's Clues. LOL. No mosh pit or stage diving now. LMAO. |
