RFG's Eliminator League Week 6

Alright, now we have gotten through the first 5 races of the season, and true qualifying will come into place. Also I did horrible in fantasy, as Greg and Matt hit the Bristol walls hard. And Kevin Harvick, the guy everyone though would do good, went down after a crash with Todd Bodine and Kurt Busch, and luckily Kurt rebounded, but not Harvick. All of you who picked him will find that you have to fight for your survival now, and everyone can thank Michael Waltrip for getting into Todd Bodine. And by the way, berlyn's pick was Carl Edwards. Anyway, here are the standings for this week:

1.) Spikesgator- 195

2.) Tabasco- 175

3.) Chicagolaw, Floridawhite, and Uscfann- 170

6.) Mikeyfan and Bondkbond- 160

8.) Plaid- 151

9.) Roushfenwayguy- 130

10.) Berlyn- 128

11.) Sford- 124

12.) Fsu1dogs, Bradman, Tenacfan, Edwardsfan, and Superjags- 118

17.) Tigersman- 112

18.) Section and M56nascar- 73

First, there were a LOT of people that picked Carl Edwards, lol. Need to think of someone besides the backflip king for almost a 3rd of the group. Second, just like I said, Kevin Harvick investors came out with pain, as they are the only ones below 100 points, the technical danger mark. However, you guys just need one good pick to rebound yourselves, but both of you guys will need to at least get a driver who finishes above 30th, meaning that if the driver you pick has a mistake, you might be hitting the trail, think long and hard about your picks you two. Congratulations to Spikesgator, the only one picking the winner this week, and Jimmie Johnson users, as they picked him when he got his best Bristol finish. And remember, Berlyn got an extra 10 points for being the winner last week, so don't ask why Berlyn is ahead of everyone else that picked Carl Edwards, the answer is right here.

And now, the bonus winners are.... nobody!! But Ryan Newman pickers were very close, as he just squeezed into 27th place, that kind of sucks for me, and that could have really helped Section. In a little bit, I may come up with another bonus prize that will be more obtainable.

Also, like I promised, the new handicap lists are in! Now anyone who likes Michael Waltrip will lose a little help, and those people who are fans of Ryan Newman, Mark Martin, Joey Logano, and others can cash in big now. Here are the new handicap lists:

+10 handicap

Michael Waltrip

David Stremme

Bobby LaBonte

Marcos Ambrose

Casey Mears

David Ragan

Ryan Newman

Jaime McMurray

+20 handicap

Reed Sorenson

Robby Gordon

Mark Martin

Sam Hornish Jr.

John Andretti

Joey Logano

Scott Speed

Aric Almirola

+30 handicap

Anyone not in the top 35 after the first 5 races, some on the list including David Gilliland, Paul Menard, and Dave Blaney.

Remember, this list will be used for the next 5 races, so even if a driver moves ahead into the top 35, or the top 20, their handicaps will stay the same. Play the handicap game wisely, as it can give you a little cushion compared to other drivers if they crash out, I.E. Kevin Harvick.

Here is where these week's picks will go, as for my pick, I am going to go with Jeff Gordon to get his first win of the season, and increase his points lead even more.

1.) Berlyn- ???

Please put floridawhite down for Mark Martin.

I think Jeff Gordon will win but the extra points with Mark are worth going for.

lol RFG, yours was CBS's fault, i am just plain out of it lately. Really busy with school and tennis, i dont have time for much else.

Obviously you didn't understand what I said, I meant to hit the quote button, but instead of hitting the quote button, my mouse went down around 2 feet and hit submit instead, and its not like the mouse just moved there, I moved it to the submit button instead of the quote button, and they are so far away too.

RFG, please put me down for Jeff Gordon this week.  His history at the track is pretty much second to none.  Not a huge fan of the #24 Dupont Chevy but I'll pull for him this week.

I'm going with Mark Martin too.  The +20 is too tempting.
