RFG's Eliminator League Week 10

First off, let me comment on that race at Talladega, what an eventful one, to say the least, with an ending we couldn't have seen. This race was full of disappointment, and awe-making crashes. Two big ones, and the Carl Edwards incident, really shaked things up, and it may cause you to have a score that you have to crawl out of, like the Mark Martin guys, who thought the +20 was a safe barrier, you will need all of that you can get. Actually, out of all the common selections ( 11/17, from 4 drivers) none of them finished in the top 20, and only 2 people got top 20 finishes this week (Bondkbond and me.) So pretty much everyone will be fighting for elimination, except maybe me, since I got the only driver who finished in the top 10. It was a whacky one with a lot of good people crashing, and although I knew results would be worse than most, I didn't know they would be this bad...Foot in mouth Obviously nobody got the improbable winner this week.

Also, the bonus has been reached! By none other than the driver that everyone counted out before the season even started, my favorite driver Kurt Busch. Unfortunately, I didn't even have enough faith to go with him, as did everyone else, so nobody gets the bonus anyway!

Here are the results:

1.) Roushfenway- 155

2.) Bondkbond- 117

3.) Mikeyfan- 115

4.) Fsu1dogs- 104

5.) Bradman- 102

6+7.) Spikesgator and Tigersman- 98

8-11.) Uscfann, Superjags, Tenacfan and Berlyn- 94

12.) Edwardsfan- 78

13+14.) Floridawhite and M56nascar- 54

15+16.) Tobasco Kat and Section- 52

17.) Chicagolaw- 46

So this is how it all turned out, and with no bonuses coming active, pretty much everyone has some work to do to avoid elimination. Chicagolaw is the lowest at the moment, but a winner at this short track would easily save him. We are now moving for Richmond, and we should, and I do hope, or it would be pretty bad, that we get better results this week. Remember, you only have 1 more week to cash in on those handicap lists before they modify themselves, here they are one last time:

Handicap list again:

+10 handicap

Michael Waltrip

David Stremme

Bobby LaBonte

Marcos Ambrose

Casey Mears

David Ragan

Jaime McMurray

+20 handicap

Fsu1dogs- 3

Bondkbond- 2

M56nascar, Mikeyfan, Spikesgator, Floridawhite, Chicagolaw, Edwardsfan, Roushfenwayguy, Uscfannv and Superjags=1

I will take your Kevin Harvick pick as a final though, realistically.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 10

after seeing the performance last night, and hearing that the track is very slick, it really fits Kyle Busch's Style.
So i would liek to make a pick change...
Kevin Harvick
Kyle Busch.
Also with our points being so "close" its a move to stay away from elimination.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 10

Since this would be the last of Mark s handicap, put me down for " el cinco de Martin", in honor of all out-numbered heroic militaries, who fight to the end ,for just causes.
