RFG's Eliminator League Week 16

Alright, 1 week is done, got 1 week left, congratulations to all 0 people that picked Mark Martin!!!! And the worse finisher this week, other than Tigersman, were the people that picked Jeff Burton, so I got 2 people into my lure this week, and I went 4/5 in good picks/ bad picks (good picks mean that they finished bad.) Anyway, that is no more, just like the handicap lists of the past. We are moving to Sonoma though, and I don't doubt at all that there will be a lot of stategy here (cough cough, Boris Said, cough cough.) For this week though, I got a cruel rule for the next 5 races, the driver eliminator! In order to stop many picking the same driver. I'll explain it later. And also by the way, nobody even picked Gordon, the 2nd place finisher, nor Hamlin, the 3rd place finisher (except for a random autopick). Anyway, here is how you guys did this week:

1.) Tobasco Kat- 170 (wow, that's too lucky...)

2-6.) Section + Roushfenway + Floridawhite + Edwardsfan + Superjags- 165 (First tie for first maybe coming...)

7.) Fsu1dogs- 129

8.) Bradman- 113

9.) Uscfann- 107

10.) Mikeyfan- 103

11-12.) M56Nascar + Berlyn- 100

13.) Tigersman- 96

14.) Tenacfan- 94

Less than 20 points seperates 14th from 8th, that is a very tight fight to avoid last, and you may want to watch out, or else you will fall if your driver crashes, and with that kind of pressure at a track like this... just choose wisely. Tobasco Kat got one of the luckiest autopicks in the world and who would have known, first time where someone got a really good autopick... or was it second... anyway, it doesn't happen too often, so Tobasco better find his way back sometime soon before he starts getting unlucky. We have a very tight race for first though, unless Tobasco wins it, which I doubt if he gets another autopick, we could have our first tie and our first no bonus points awarded week. And I moved the bar since we have less people now, just based on who I think is in trouble, Fsu1dogs could go home easily as well though.

Here are the new, improved, altered, and completely reinnovated handicap lists, now more people are on the lists, and handicaps maybe greater, and used more often:

+10 handicap: 16th through 23nd

Clint Bowyer

Brian Vickers

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Jaime McMurray

Macros Ambrose

Casey Mears

Martin Truex Jr.

Kevin Harvick

Boris Said (road courses only, not letting you get free points...)

+20 handicap: 24rd through 31th

Sam Hornish Jr.

Joey Logano

Reed Sorenson

Elliot Sadler

David Ragan

Bobby LaBonte

Michael Waltrip

A.J. Allmendinger

(Brad Kesolowski whenever he races)

(Max Papis on road courses only)

+25 handicap: 32st through 38th

David Stremme

Paul Menard

Robby Gordon (excludes road courses)

Scott Speed

John Andretti (+10 for road courses)

David Gilliland

Regan Smith

(Patrick Carpentier and Brian Simo, road courses only)

+34 handicap (picked 2x in a session will make +0 2nd time)

Anyone below 38th, excludes ones below 38th listed above in special cases

Need to make sure there isn't too much conspiring for the road courses, sorry guys, still some have decent handicaps still if you want to try them out.

Here is the win column, unchanged

Fsu1dogs- 3

Bondkbond Superjags- 2

M56nascar, Mikeyfan, Floridawhite, Edwardsfan, Roushfenway, Uscfannv, Section, Bradman, Tenacfan and Berlyn=1

Before I give out the driver eliminator, I have something that I need to state, since Juan Pablo Montoya would be almost useless to put on the eliminator, and considering how much better he is doing this season, and that he has yet to not finish outside the top 10 here, there will be a 10 point deduction for whoever picks Montoya, sorry, but I need to be really strick at these road courses, or else everyone will pick the same guy, however , if Montoya is to finish first, he will recieve no deduction! Keep that into mind as well.

Alright, the driver eliminator is... nothing! I will come up with something next week, lol, all this road course stuff is too much to take in I'm sure, and I don't want all of you to think I am being too strict... at least until next week...

Alright, my pick for this week, will be no other than Ryan Newman, he does good here, and considering all the Jeff Gordon picks that will come, I am making a pick a little out there.

Bradman- Marcos Ambrose (+10 handicap)

Floridawhite- Jeff Gordon

Tenacfan- Tony Stewart

Uscfann- Ron Fellows (+34 handicap)

Edwardsfan- Tony Stewart
Fsu1dogs- Mark Martin

Mikeyfan- Patrick Carpentier (+25 handicap)

Section- Marcos Ambrose (+10 handicap)

Tobasco Kat- Martin Truex Jr. (+10 handicap)

Berlyn- Tony Stewart

Roushfenway- Ryan Newman

M56Nascar- Tony Stewart

Tigersman- Tony Stewart

Superjags- Tony Stewart
Common Picks:

Tony Stewart- 7

(Correction from the Jeff Gordon: A LOT! Tony Stewart was the name I meant to put down...)

Hey RFG I should take your auto picks every week LOL but that wouldnt be any fun but it would probably keep me in the game a little longer that being said I will go with Martin Truex Jr this week.

You should have just have pretended that he was the one you were going to pick, he will probably win this week, lol.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 16

I got no room for error this week after going out on a limb with Hornish (with a +20) last week, so I'm gonna have to pick a no-brainer.  I'm taking Smoke, aka, Tony Stewart.  Smile

RFG's Eliminator League Week 16

LOL Hey RFG I thought I was eliminated after Dover with the Denny Hamlin debacle so I guess I was pretty lucky I will get back to you with my picks for the road course race in a day or two.

LOL Tobasco, that was the first of 2 races... think, how are you going to get 70 points from 2 drivers... its impossible, lol.

Anyway, that week you got a autopick of Ryan Newman I believe which got 5th, so you moved up, and Bondkbond, who got Kurt Busch as an autopick, fell out of the game. The only reason why I assumed something is because when I last checked, it said you hadn't made a post for 13 consectutive days.... and that did nothing but help you in this game, lol.
