Well, I decided to take blkhwfkn out of this game, I can only keep someone in for so long. This means that whoever gets next to last (cough, Bradman) is actually saved! However, I got a feeling that this will be the last week for saving... and Talladega is coming up... but don't worry, I got a plan. Anyway, Hamlin won again, and how many people picked him... nobody! I'm think people are going to be picking Hamlin in bulk for this race. Here is the standings...

Top Lineup: Denny Hamlin (+10 handicap), Jimmie Johnson- 375

1.) Bored at Work-     685 (340) (Makes me wonder what kind of driver studying he does while he's bored at work...)

2.) Hard to Beat-        634 (254) (Didn't implode, Logano did bad but Kyle did good.)

3.) RAK-                    614 (340) (geat picks both in the top 5.)

ILL55INI-                  614 (340) (His plan of following RAK this session worked well...)

500 CLUB

5.) M56Nascar56-       599 (278) (So close to 600...)

6.) Mikeyfan-             598 (323) (Has a great week by painfully picking Johnson.)

7.) Chokin Colts-        593 (315) (Handicap picks are getting better.)

8.) Tigersman-           592 (278)

9.) Berlyn-                591 (292)

10.) Fsu1dogs-           590 (245) (Should have went with Martin instead of Gordon...)

11.) Edwardsfan-         548 (232)

12.) Foreplus-             545 (252)

13.) Spikesgator-        517 (254)

14.) Obxyankeefan-     507 (297)

400 CLUB

15.) Uscfannv-             497 (152) (Gets slapped down back to earth.)

16.) Coach-                 495 (237)

17.) Floridawhite-        441 (183)

18.) Tenacfan-            456 (321) (Big bounceback from last week.)

19.) Section-              436 (183)

20.) Roushfenwayguy- 424 (278)

21.) D2Moo-               411 (183)

22.) Bradman-            363 (183) (Better than last week at least, lol.)

23.) Blkhwkfn-             245 (0) (Given the axe of death.)

Well, very surprising that both the winner and runner-up were in the bottom 5 this session... just shows that 1 bad week can do you in... and this message comes just in time for Talladega! And also congratz to Bored at Work, who had two amazing weeks

Now for the rule for Talladega, since this is Talladega, everyone will get a save pick! A save pick will only be used if one of their drivers gets caught in an incident (3 or more laps down.) If they fit those conditions, you can replace that pick with your save pick. Your save pick MUST be a person with a handicap, and if you must use your save pick, you will lose 10 points (you still get their handicap, so people will +10 handicap really won't have a handicap for a save pick), if your save pick gets less points than your real driver, then he won't end up being used. Your lineup that you can't use for next week will be determined by which drivers you use. Also keep in mind that if your save driver scores more than one of your other drivers, he won't replace them unless they are 3+ laps down.

Winning Drivers chosen:

Roushfenwayguy- 2
uscfannv-            2

Sorry RFG, I didn't see that JR was an illegal pick until just now. Thankfully it didn't hurt me.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 9

Figuring that Talladega is such a crap shoot, I figure I'm going to try something pretty unconventional and go with a trio of guys within the +20 handicap group.  This move will either complete the plumet I was expecting last week or could come off as a stroke of brillance.
1st Pick - David Reutimann
2nd Pick - Brad Keselowski
Safety Pick - Ryan Nawman

RFG's Eliminator League Week 9

Let's see if I get this right:

1.  Kevin Harvick

2.  Tony Stewart

Save Pick:  Michael Waltrip  If he misses the race then I'll go with David Reutimann as my Save Pick.

RFG, I'm on vacation so If Mikey doesn't make the race I may not get back on line prior to the race to modify my picks.

(Oh, with Mikey having a full sponsor for this race and the sponsor being the race sponsor, he won't be a start and park this week. Just for everyones information.  )
