Well Denny wins again... now combined Jimmie and Denny have more wins than all other driver this season combined... maybe a potent combo for the future for some time to come... except that Denny hasn't finished on the lead lap here in his last 5 appearances, but still, makes me wonder if some people will be bold with him here. Anyway, we had 2 people get him... Illini55 and Mikeyfan, anyway, let's get to the standings:

Top Lineup: Denny Hamlin, Jaime McMurray (+10 handicap)- 375

1.) Mikeyfan-           360 (Wait the mind beat the heart? What kind of a lesson is this?!? Maybe Mikeyfan just has a heart full of black.)

ILL55INI-                360

3.) Obxyankeefan-   337 (The bonus moved him from 7th to podium.)

4.) Edwardsfan-        335 (Must be sick of hanging down the bottom.)

Berlyn-                    335

6.) Chokin Colts-      329 (When a chaser from last year ends up in +20, this is what happens.)

7.) M56Nascar-         318

8.) Tenacfan-           317 (Handicap of Kesolowski boosts him over 300)

Uscfannv-                317 (Jeff and Jeff do well.)

200 CLUB

10.) Fsu1dogs-           285

11.) Roushfenwayguy- 267

Tigersman-                267

13.) RAK-                   250

14.) Bradman-            248

15.) Hard to Beat-       247

16.) Bored at Work-     244 (Must be in a hangover after all those good races.)

17.) Spikesgator-        243

18.) Floridawhite-        225

Section-                     225

20.) Coach-                152 (First his website went down and now this!)

21.) D2Moo-               147 (Guess this is what happens when Johnson does bad.)

Well, this week was just wierd, mainly because Jeff Gordon did good and we had a lot... I mean 14 of our 21... or 2/3rds of all of us pick him. While other drivers (cough, Jimmie) did bad which dragged some down. So unlike Talladega, the spectrum of good to bad is quite large, and its like there are really 3 different groups... where Coach and D2Moo got the bad side of the stick, and will either have to make up at least 73/78 points on someone else or take the other out... its looking like a mono y mono battle, but at Dover, you never know what will happen.

Winning Drivers chosen:

Roushfenwayguy- 4

Uscfannv-            3
Section-              3
Chokin Colts-      3

10 handicap: 16th through 23rd

Ryan Newman (Moved up in points, but still has a handicap)

Joey Logano

Juan Palbo Montoya (yet another chaser last year now with a handicap.)

Jaime McMurray (Daytona points don't last forever.)

Paul Menard (He's falling down the list fast.)

A.J. Allmendinger

Kasey Kahne (He is still here and flying low this year... probably can't wait for Hendrick.)

David Ragan

+20 handicap: 24th through 31st

David Reutimann (This should lure Mikeyfan over more than once during the next 5 weeks.)

Bobby LaBonte

Travis Kvapil

+25 handicap: 32nd through 38th

Regan Smith

Robby Gordon

David Gilliland

Kevin Conway

Mike Bliss

Max Papis

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th)

Next up... Dover, the monster mile, where it comes down to who can tame this thing. For me this week, I'm starting off with Johnson, after last week he has to rebound. For my second guy... although Roush is great here I can't trust them right now... I don't want two Hendrick drivers... that leaves only 1 other person whom over the past 5 years has an avg. finish under 10.0, and that is Jeff Burton.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 12

Well. I'm either going down for the count or going to look really good.

Carl Edwards and Juan Pablo Montoya are my picks for Dover.

With my recent luck, they'll take each other out on lap 3.
