The Community is changing and several enhancements are on the way. As part of this change, the ability to create new blogs has been disabled. Your voices can still be heard by visiting our message boards.
This is still in effect, for those of you that follow the blog station, you can make picks here or follow the link here to post your picks:

Here is the same info from the initial thread, though this can't be edited:

O.K., so Hamlin did horrible, and as consequence, many people did awful. But of course, Dale Earnhardt Jr. finally won, and who took advantage, thanks to RFG autopicks (using the pick 3 game), and due to confusion of this stupid update CBS is still working on with blogs, I gave D2Moo the benifit of the doubt, he will get the winner, the bolded driver, and the handicap, that all adds up to 6 bonus points, and a winner, I know I'm just too kind. Anyways, lets see how the rest of us did:

1.) ILL55INI-             83 (The two picks that were exactly the same are the highest scoring... hmmmm...)

Bradman-                 83

3.) Berlyn-                77 (Is her luck FINALLY starting to turn around??)

4.) D2Moo-               69 (The engine failiure on Martin's part shut down the great win by junior.)

5.) Floridawhite-        62

6.) Tenacfan-           56

7.) Beardawg-           55 (For the first time in the eliminator league history (I think), somebody picked the last place driver.)

8.) Fsu1dogs-           54

9.) River Rat-           52

10.) Sfrye-                 49

11.) Edwardsfan-         48

12.) Roushfenwayguy- 43

13.) Tigersman-         23 (Good news, things can only go up from here.... hopefully...)

Well, all in all, a pretty awful week we had here, only four scores cracking the 60 barrier, that's pretty bad. Buth with JGR bad luck, combined with Kasey and Martin, and you got your reason why this week was so low scoring. Also I forgot to take out Fog, it may explain why he didn't come to make picks, either that or the blog confusion, but the other two that didn't find the page got compensated and are in decent shape, so its all good hopefully for those two. Also we have two of our 3 save eligible players in the danger zone, including Tigersman, who is far behind the rest. Could we see the save rule come into effect the segment it became available? It's look very well possible, although I hope I don't become a casualty of Infineon.

The handicap lists are now revamped, and as such, I decided to edit Mark Martin's handicap based upon his average points scored, since he is the best part-time driver by far, his handicap is a bit rigged. Also I made handicaps for Infineon only, hopefully people will take some of these into consideration.

Winning Drivers List:

Tigersman-              4 (Once again claims sole possession of first here.)

Beardawg-               3

ILL55INI-                2

Tenacfan-                2

Roushfenwayguy-      2

Sfrye-                      2

Floridawhite-             2

D2Moo-                    2

Mikeyfan-                1

Berlyn-                    1

River Rat-                1

Fsu1dogs-                1

Bradman-                 1

Edwardsfan-              0 (Is now the only person in this game yet to pick a winner.)

(Mark Martin, by average, would currently be 14th in the standing were he race all races, so 15th is now 16th, etc.)

+8 handicap: Anyone Below 35th

SEGMENT 2: Weeks 15-26(pre-chase): All players must have unique lineups every week in each session (REMEMBER that a session consists of two weeks, an odd week followed by an even week.) Here are some examples to clarify this:

EXAMPLE 1: Week 15: RFG chooses Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards

Week 16: RFG chooses Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards = ILLEGAL PICKS

EXAMPLE 2: Week 16: RFG chooses Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards

Week 17: RFG chooses Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle

Week 18: RFG chooses Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth = LEGAL PICKS

All in all, if its an EVEN numbered week, check your picks from the previous week, if it is an odd numbered week, then don't worry your head about a thing. Illegal picks will result in a -8 penalty, the maximum handicap, except subtracted. (Picking the exact same lineup will still result in -8, NOT -16.)

(Please copy/paste this list with your picks while we are in message board mode.)

Roushfenwayguy- Kyle Busch, Juan Pablo Montoya

D2Moo- Dale Earnhardt Jr., Mark Martin

Tigersman- Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne
