Cowboys depth

With the depth on the Dallas Cowboys roster this year I think you will be hard pressed to find a team that will beat the Cowboys for the top spot in the NFC. Terrance Newman will not be starting this week and knowone is panicking. Normally, everyone would be freaking out with our top corner out but with Pacman or excuse me, Adam, on our roster and starting in his place, it's no big deal....While I do think Braylan Edwards is due for a huge day they will be no match for the mighty Cowboys.

Cowboys depth

Big papa and Favrete Dog,

you have good points and the schedule could have been a lot worse for the boys, but remember they have to stay healthy and they have to survive their own div.   I hope and pray their run def. has improved a little (always a big factor in the playoffs) and the pas def. has to be a little better as well.  In the end I agree with Big Papa that I dont think they will make the same mistake as last year and show have a much better showing in the playoffs.

Lets hope they stay healthy and survive the East !

Cowboys depth

I don't think so. I honestly think that they were too relaxed heading into that game. I don't think Romo and company will make the same mistakes again. History seems to repeat itself but I don't think it will in this case.

I agree, Big Papa.  I think the schedule helps them out some - I'd say only 4 real tests (maybe 3) outside the division.  I think the game against the Packers later this month might be interesting, but then again may not turn any different than last November's matchup.  An improved Cardinals team and the Bucs in October should be tests that may be telling.  Then (here is my bias) the Ravens in December should give them an interesting pre-playoff test just b/c I think Balt should be rather improved by then.  But the reason I'm responding is b/c I wanted to see what you thought about the late season melt down in big D and whether or not it is likely to happen again.
