Death to the Western Conference

Posted on: July 16, 2008 8:50 pm

With the signing of James Posey, the New Orleans Hornets which finished in first place last season in their conference seem to be ready to take it past just a playoff series win or two. By obtaining Posey, the Hornets now have that experienced player to come of the bench during crunch time and help them close out series deep in the playoffs. This is a great aquisition by this organization and hopefully one more move will mean that they 110% serious about a championship run.

Death to the Western Conference

Ya good move by the Hornets fo sho.  They are the real deal and might make it out of the first round, maybe two.   Chris Paul is already amazing and with another year under his belt he'll be that much better.

Cavs out of the East this year!  Mo Williams is the missing link to get them over the proverbial hump.  That and the commitment to an even better defensive scheme.  NBA Finals or bust, with no embarrassing 0-4 showing this year to the West.  But I still think the best team in the League will be the winner out of the Eastern Conference.  WAY early prediction......Cleveland @ Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals.  Who's healthy then is going to end up the winner.
