My Broncos Draft

How I would of made the picks.  Everyone does this to see how they would of changed their team, come back later and see how I would of done with this years draft class.

Round 1 ( 2nd overall ): Von Miller OLB Texas A&M
Round 2 ( 46th overall ): DaQuan Bowers DE Auburn
Round 2 ( 47th overall ): Stephen Paea DT Oregon State
Round 3 ( 67th overall ): Akeem Dent ILB Georgia
Round 4 ( 108th overall ): Casey Matthews ILB Oregon
Round 4 ( 129th overall ): Julius Thomas TE Portland State
Round 6 ( 189th overall ): Kieth Williams OG Nebraska
Round 7 ( 204th overall ): Derek Newton OT Arkansas State
Round 7 ( 247th overall ): Tommie Campbell FS California PA

Have to get defense early, and even thought Dareus would of been nice someone like Miller should be great to work with.  Plus two good D-Lineman are on the bard with 2nd rounders.  Something about Dent I think is going to translate well and between him and Matthews there should be a solid starer alongside Miller.  Knew Thomas was going to be picked, good risk / reward there.  Then go after the O-Linemen we need.

Once football starts we'll see how they do, different teams and different situations are not the Denver situation but we've had some horredous drafts around here.  Hope that Elway and Co. is right and I am wrong.

My Broncos Draft

Oops Irving was our 3rd rounder, I meant I'd rather have Bowers over Moore or Franklin.

I agree, on draft day I was thinking the same thing. I don't know why we took Nate Irving in the 2nd round over Da'Quan Bowers. Bowers was projected number one overall until the injury. That would have been a steal.
