Breakout star of 2009/2010

So, with the Pre season upon us, I am curious who you all think will be the breakout star of the year? Detroit has brought up several young talents this year one being Ville Leino who is expected to put out Hudler like numbers (from what I have heard). Also who do you think will be the biggest impact of the season? Hossa with the Hawks? Will Rick Nash lead his Jackets to another playoff appearance? and finally, since Gary bettman finally got what he wanted, do you think he will stop trying to bend the rules to favor Cindy? (for those of you who didnt realize that, it was somewhat a joke, I say somewhat because there is a small part of me that really believes that he actually does that).

Breakout star of 2009/2010

Is Bobby Ryan still able to be called a break out player or was last year the breakout year???  I think the Ducks will be really good this year and he should rack up some major points.

Another player I think is loaded with potential is Jack Johnson of the Kings.  This guy was a stud at the World Juniors and has played decently in the NHL.  With the Kings poised to not suck for the first time since their jersey's were black and silver I figure he's due to have a pretty good year.

Bettman is an idiot.Of course Cindy and Malkin will be favoured he wants Cindy's picture on every Hockey magazine. As far as Nash and the Blue Jackets the signing of Vermette for 5 years gives Nash a fast centre who is a good playmaker and they should make the playoffs again this year. The breakout star this year will be Steven Stamkos, with the Lecavelier trade rumours over,Stamkos should have a great year playing with Lecavelier and Martin St.Louis.

since Gary bettman finally got what he wanted, do you think he will stop trying to bend the rules to favor Cindy? We wish.  Cindy and Malkin will always be favored, I fear.  Dark days in the NHL.
