I really like this idea...Especially since it it only for Homerun calls....There may be some problems..But I'm sure the MLB will take care of them..
What do you think?

Wow...Different opinion there G_Siekman...I'm not going to disagree with your opinion...Every has there own...And yours makes a lot of sense...But to me we should use the technology that's available..

I belive that the game of baseball needs to be called by theof the trained eye of the umps not by cameras.

I love the idea. We have the technology there already so why not use it.

I do think it will expand it involve all run scoring plays in the future though. For example a close play at home plate.

I think using Instant Replay is a good idea to make calls more efficient. This way there will be less arguing between Managers and Umpires.

its going to start home runs only but as time passes it will expand  to Outs and Safe  base calls and possibly when interferance and balks are called and also HBP's as we saw manny acta blow up when easley got hit with the bases loaded i bet if there was instant replay a few weeks back they would have used it on that call

I agree Clutch, as long as it stays for just HR. I fear that it may become more and that would be bad for the game. I am not a fan of the umpires anymore than the next guy but they are right most often. So for the HR I am all for it.
