Its hard to vote for a player I never saw play, but going on stats alone Honus Wagner is in a class by himself so he gets my vote. I do like Concepcion and Ripken close behind. Great blog Clutch, Thanks!!

I am a Red Sox fan and lets face it the greatest short stop of all time as much as this pains me to say this is Alex Rodriguez..  I mean the guy is a month with his 50 + homers and his big RBI season the MVP trophies and his average..  Just because he plays third now doesn't mean he is not a SS..
