So far the NFL postseason has been ok as i am happy to see the Cardinals just pull out an impressive upset. My Broncos failed me against the Chargers so im hoping for a Steel Curtain Steeler win tmrw. I am now looking toward baseball. I once again have high hopes for the Cubs. with or without Peavy this team is gonna win it! Bradley will provide the team the left handed bat they need. If he stays healthy, the skies the limit. I could see 30 homers in that lineup.
Opening Day Batting Order: 1: Soriano (we win with him here, we lose if he's not) 2: Theriot 3. Lee 4. Rami 5.Bradley (he breaks up the righties here) 6. Soto 7. Fukudome (he'l play more like 08 first half Kosuke than 08 second half Kosuke) 8. Fontenot (shame Derosa is gone but that year for him was a bit uncharacteristic) 9. pitcher
Big Z should still be Opening Day starter. Some say he's breaking down but his lack of strikeouts could be contributed to watching and learning from Greg Maddux. I believe Maddux's pitching style rubbed off on him a bit when he was with the Cubs a few years back and he is still plenty effective
Well, until next time.
