Fantasy Draft Research

Why are fantasy drafts so much fun.  Is it because you spend so much time watching sports anyway and it personlizes it even more, or is it because you are trying to out-duel your friends in sports knowledge.  My biggest struggle every year is trying to find time to research early and not cram for the draft.  Every year it seems to come down to the wire and I never feel ready to draft.  This year is no different.  I feel like I've been waiting for more information to come out on certain players and putting off getting my cheat sheet in order.  Now I'm down to 30 hours away from draft time and feel very unprepared.  Why is something that is so much fun so stressful when it should be an escape from the real priorities in life?
