BSU Deserves Respect!

Boise State isn't getting nearly enough respect lately. People continue to say that their schedule is too weak and that they haven't proven themselves yet. All they have done is prove themselves, again and again. It began in 2006, when they shocked Oklahoma and the rest of the country by winning the fiesta Bowl. Actually, it started before then. Ever since they joined the WAC, they have dominated league play, especially at home. Their "big fish in a small pond" label is well-deserved, but the AQ conferences have not given them the opportunity to play enough quality opponents, especially at home. Teams are afraid (and rightly so) to play on the blue turf, but someone has to step up to the plate and do it. if BSU drops any lower in the polls, it will certainly be a travesty, seeing as how they are blowing lesser teams out of the water left and right, most recently against conference foe Louisiana Tech. If either Auburn or Oregon falls and Boise defeats Nevada on the road, then they deserve a shot at the National Championship. Give them a chance!
