LAOJoe's Bracket: FEB 10th, 2011

I followed the procedures and hopefully I don't have any rematches.
Autobids in ALLCAPS. Games through Feb 9th.

A few changes in seeding but no new teams. Wisconsin's squeaker coupled with Villanova's loss has them swap seeds. Louisville and Kentucky also swap seeds. Utah State drops to a 12 seed and thus a first four game is now promoted to an 11 seed. Thanks to Wisconsin the #3 seed line has finally been cracked by a non-Big East team.

So discuss the bracket and the matchups and possible matchups.

The winner of the East Regional would play the winner of the West Regional.
The winner of the Southwest Regional would play the winner of the Southeast Regional.
TEXAS A&M & WEST VIRGINIA SWAPPED SEEDS SO THAT THE BIG EAST WOULD NOT HAVE 2 TEAMS IN THE SAME POD.
UNLV & TENNESSEE SWAPPED SEEDS SO THAT THE SEC WOULD NOT HAVE 2 TEAMS IN THE SAME HALF OF A REGION.

LAOJoe's Bracket: FEB 9th, 2011

I followed the procedures and hopefully I don't have any rematches.
Autobids in ALLCAPS. Games through Feb 8th.

Some changes this time (detailed below). I decided to swap team near the cutoff. For those asking about Ole Miss, well they will stay until they lose or their upcoming weak competition really hurts their computer numbers. They sure are an interesting team to follow. Michigan State is finally kicked out, although the winner of the MSU vs PSU matchup will be right up there with all the bubble teams.

So discuss the bracket and the matchups and possible matchups.

The winner of the East Regional would play the winner of the West Regional.
The winner of the Southwest Regional would play the winner of the Southeast Regional.
CINCINNATI & TEMPLE AND TEXAS A&M & WEST VIRGINIA SWAPPED SEEDS SO THAT THE BIG EAST WOULD NOT HAVE 2 TEAMS IN THE SAME POD.
UNLV & TENNESSEE SWAPPED SEEDS SO THAT THE SEC WOULD NOT HAVE MULTIPLE TEAMS IN THE SAME HALF OF A REGIONAL BRACKET.

LAOJoe's Bracket: FEB 8th, 2011

I followed the procedures and hopefully I don't have any rematches.
Autobids in ALLCAPS. Games through Feb 7th.

Michigan State is holding on by a thread thanks to there quality wins. If they can win a good chunk of their remaining games they should be save. If they lose vs Penn State they are out. Their record would be way too bad then.

The chart may not have seemed to change much but that is mainly because of procedures. Thus West Virginia is still a higher seed than Texas A&M. However with their loss Cleveland State has dropped out of the bracket and we now welcome Valparaiso. I also swapped Kent State and Belmont since Belmont had a possible rematch vs Vanderbilt.

So discuss the bracket and the matchups and possible matchups.

The winner of the East Regional would play the winner of the West Regional.
The winner of the Southwest Regional would play the winner of the Southeast Regional.
