Top 10 Power Forwards in the NBA

1. Kevin Garnett 6-11 Boston Celtics

Analysis: The heart and soul of the Boston Celtics. His value is showed by how inept the Celtics defense was without him during the playoffs. The Boston Celtics have the best record in the league while Kevin Garnett is healthy.

2. Tim Duncan 7-0 San Antonio Spurs

Analysis: Is exactly what you want in big man. He scores in the post, can run the pick and roll, block shots, rebounds, and has the will to win. Won 4 Championships and essentially is equal to Kevin Garnett in productivity.

3. Pau Gasol 7-0 Los Angeles Lakers

Analysis: Best post moves in the league. Scores in the post with the left hand or right hand. Solid 17 footer. Underrated defender that may not be physical, but his long arms which are used to block and contest shots. Shot an insane 56.7% from the field.

4. Amare Stoudemire 6-10 Phoenix Suns

Analysis: Even after injures, Stoudemire is the still the most athletic big man in the league. Averaged 21.4 pts and 8.0 rebs shooting almost 54% from the field.

5. Dirk Nowitzki 7-0 Dallas Mavericks

Analysis: Led all Power Forwards in scoring and was extremely productive during the playoffs.

6. Chris Bosh 6-10 Toronto Raptors

Analysis: Averaged 22.7 points and 10 rebounds. Would higher but hasn't had any postseason in his career.

7. David West 6-8 New Orleans Hornets

Analysis: Runs the pick and roll well with Chris Paul and is and averaged 21 pts per game last season.

8. Carlos Boozer 6-8 Utah Jazz

Analysis: Very good low post scorer and runs the pick and roll perfectly with Deron Williams. Would be higher on the list but is a very poor shot blocker and cannot stay healthy.

9. Josh Smith 6-9 Atlanta Hawks

Analysis: Super athlete is one of the most versatile players on the game. He can drive to the hole, shoot 20 footers, and is one of the best shot-blockers in the game. If he gets his head straight stops pulling up for 3's when everybody who is guarding is slower than him then he could be an all-star.

10. Antwan Jamison 6-9 Washington Wizards

Analysis: Great inside scorer and rebounder. Always puts around 20 and 10. Poor shot blocker, but plays decent position defense.
