I woke up dismorning and look in the mirror. I said to my self " self what would you like to see happen today?" To answer that question, I'd like to see me get my new Yankees championship hat today. I'd also like to see the Raiders come off the bye and win at least 6 games this year. Then I really dug down deep, and said what do i really want to happen? I came up with, I'd like to see the Knicks win a second game.
I'v Already excepted that the Raiders are not gonna do much this year, and I'v excepted that the Yankees have won the ship. I have also excepted that the Devils are awsome, and probly will make the post this year. One thing i wont except is the fact that the knicks might be the worst tema in the league right now. Wait, no thats the Nets, but we are still really bad. Id even say awful.
It is early, so I except that we may have it in us this year to pull off 20 wins, and i except that the fix is in, and we may be tanking on purpose. I except that half the Knicks this year wont be there next year. I also except that David Lee is awsome.
I dont really know what my point is when it comes down to the bottom line. I dont offer any solutions, and i have more questions then answers, but what i do knnow is something needs to be addressed or its just gonna get worse from here. Lets just pretend that this Free agent pool really doesnt help us out in the long run, and we dont get LeBron James or any of the players that would make a difference. Lets just say all we get is Chris Bosh and Some old vet, and we Loose half the team we got now. On top of that we get a later draft pick. We will be totally screwed.
I cant wait any more. For most of my life the knicks have been ok at best. I'v seen them go from an allstar team, with Pat Ewing, Larry Johnson, John Starks, Ect. to a garbage team with , with the likes of Keith Vanhorn, and Travis KNight. Iv seen players who on other teams exceled , and then when they came to the garden the fizzled out to a small nothing( Steve Francis).
If you ask me, bring back Jeff Van Gundy and lets go backward, because goin foward aint working.
Let me knonw what you think.

OK fellas just befor another seasopn gets under way, I just wanna say good luck and god bless. That aside i wanna take a look at the match ups tonight.
At the gaurds for the Knicks
Wilson Chandler, And Chris Duhon.
At the gaurds for the Heat
Dwyane Wade, and Mario Chalmers
I say this only cause Wade is an animal. On a side note I would like to see Toney Douglas get some time tonight.
At the fowards for the Knicks
Al Harrington,and Jared Jeffries
At fowards for the Heat
Udonis Haslem, and Michael Beasley
Im gonna say advantage Knicks here only cause Al is backed up by Marcus Landry and i think the rotation will def give us edge. Beasley also got a broken thumb.
At the centers
Your favorite and mine
David Lee, for the Heat will be Jermaine O'Neal, but Jamaal Magloire is suspended so advantage Knicks cause they go Jordan Hill coming off the bench.
Ok boys the game bout to start. Lets win this one for me.

This is a list of free agents that are unrestricted in 2010. All this info was taken from sportscity.com. Although this is not a complete list, and excludes any ex Knicks, such as Tim Thomas, it is a list that we might want to look at, and come to terms that there is more out there then LeBron James.
for starters i take a look at boston. These two might be costly but Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce are two solid guys, and to me either one would be a nice addition.
These next 3 guys would be fantastic additions, although it probly wont happen. First up LeBron James, what else is left to say about James, any team lucky enough to snag him is in for good things. Shaquille O'Neal, Zydrunas Ilgauskas also are up for free agentcy, but really i see a one year deal at best.
Josh Howard (T), Dirk Nowitzki are probly not gonna come to our squad, but will be avalable.I dont like either one for our team, but im not saying there not good players, just not for us.
One big man that is avalible is Kwame Brown. Iv liked Brown when he first came in to the league. I mean hes was ok at best but who knows what might happen.
Kenyon Martin, would also be nice to see in the garden. hes proven him self as a clutch player.
The next couple guys are a few player from the Rockets, that i owuld never wanna see on my team, and they are as follows. Brent Barry, Chuck Hayes , Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming ,and if i see any of them on the team id be highly disapointed.
I know i said i wouldt name ex knicks but this one ill make an exception for. Marcus Camby to me is a talent that we should of never let slip through our hands. Im not sure of the workings behind letting him go but he should stillbe a knick today.
THis next name in my oppinion is not going to go any place other then where he is right now, and his name is Kobe Bryant. Someone we might wanna look in to from the Lakers is Derek Fisher. I mean what can you say about fisher. Hes un real and is proven.
Only guy from the Nets would be Rafer Alston, but on our consistant gaurd heavy team i dont think wed have the space for him.
TO close there is one guy who i want more then any other and that is Chrish Bosh, but as for other guys out there, like Amare Stoudemire , im not gonna name everyone only the ones i feel could make a long term impact.
The Knicks free agent pool is as follows Eddy Curry, (who we should dump like an ugly prome date), Chris Duhon(who should be signed befor the years out), Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, Jared Jeffries , Darko Milicic(move him).
Bottom line this is the best free agentcy iv seen and there is a lot of talent out there, so lets not put all our eggs in one basket with this Lebron thing, when we can get 2 or 3 for his price.

I must say im more excited with every passing day. As we get closer and closer to the First game against the Miami Heat , I think to last year. The final was 120 to 115 Knicks over Heat in the season opener. David Lee (mvp) had a double double, (16 points 11 rebounds), and from looking at the rest of the stats the whole team really performed well in the First game of the season. It was spread around well and we didnt even have Al Harrington yet. With the addition of Jordan Hill and a cast of other young talented players i feel we are gonna once again beat the Heat in this first game.

As the sun is about to rise on a new season, a dream is born. The dream that iv had ever since i was a child. BAck in those days Patrick Ewing was being drafted and the Knicks were looking like a power house, by consistantly making the playoffs.
As time went on many things have crushed my dreams the biggest being Reggie Miller draining Threes back to back to back. Another dream killer was a man named Michael Jordan. With this all said i still have hope. There has been times in the past couple years that iv almost lost my hope, but i have stayed with them.
When Larry Brown came to town and nearly destroyed my dream for good, i was still cheering for them. i was at one of the last games of that season. We played the New Jersey Nets, and i went to there home and cheered on my team. Even though we lost to there scubs, and they clinched about 2 weeks earlier, and the KNicks had no shot at any thing, i still had my dream that one day we would make it.
When the knicks were eleiminated by the Pistons in the first round one year, i stayed wiht them. when they drafted Sweetny i was excited and ready to make it.
then i realized the knicks never make it. They never make it easy to be a knicks fan. The thing is iv gotten excited so many times in the past wioht my KNicks, that even though now, with this rebuilding effort that we are in right now, i wont allow my self to get excited. I mena i know David Lee is un real; at times, and i know that we got a coach now, and i know there is a long shot that King LeBron James is coming to the garden. i still wont allow my self to get ha;ppy. not till see progress.
REally im just a normal guy at work blogging about the knicks, so im not really trying to make any real poiunt. Juat want it to be known that i have a dream, and that dream is to one day beable to say that i stuck wiht them and that they finally have won a championship.
To conclude, if they go in to a trading frenzy and get rid of players for other palyers that might get us a first round eleimination then id be greatly disapointed. This stratagy had proven it self not to work time and time again. What needs to happen is we need to take our time and let things build naturaly. We need to begin to develope players in our system. David Lee, Nate Robinson, Deangelo Gallinari, Jordan Hill these are yopung talented guys who we vcould develope, and hopefully be peices to our puzzle, leading to champion ship. So lets not go crazy at the thought of Lebron Coming to town. By this i mena lets not trade away all our vital players that we have developed, lets maybe hold off. What would that look like LEbron comes to town and we let go of everyone then what do we have? We have the Texas Rangers. They signed A man by the name of Alex Rodriguez, and they didnt do a thing wiht him and his huge contract.
