Last year Jamey Carroll was talked about again and again in the four days in Indianapolis, before signing a two-year deal with the Dodgers. This year it could be a Twins reliever that finds himself re-tweeted a hundred times in a few days.
Already today, I wrote about the Red Sox having interest in Matt Guerrier, and now MLB.com's Peter Gammons tweets nine teams have shown interest in Jesse Crain. Those teams are the Rays, Rockies, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Orioles, Cubs, Nationals and Blue Jays. He also adds that Crain would make sense for the Red Sox and Angels, as well.
Crain appeared in 71 games last season with a 1-1 record and 3.04 ERA. He struck out 62 and walked 27 in 68 innings. He made $2 million last season.
