At this point, we probably shouldn’t be surprised, because since his career ended, Terry Glenn seemingly has been in nothing but trouble.
He was arrested again Thursday morning for driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession (he also was released Thursday after posting bond of $3,011), writes WEEI.com. Since the Cowboys released him in 2008 after a 12-year career, Glenn has been arrested multiple times, mostly on drug possession and public intoxication (and once on grand theft auto).
Glenn had a fantastic rookie season with the Patriots in 1996, catching an NFL rookie record 90 passes for 1,132 yards and six touchdowns. For the rest of his career, he was a solid, not spectacular player who had a relatively tough time staying on the field – much of which came because of off-the-field problems.
Unfortunately, those problems have only increased since his retirement.
