Adam Aizer and I sat down on Monday to try and tackle a full slate of headlines around college football. We dive into the troubles at Miami, and offer our ideas on changes that can prevent this type of situation from happening in the future. We also discuss LSU's potential player issues in light of recent skirmishes in Baton Rouge, whether or not Oklahoma deserves the top spot in the polls, and break down the effects of injuries to key players at Arkansas, Washington, and N.C. PODCAST: Maryland OL Andrew Gonnella

Posted by Chip Patterson

In this latest edition of the CBS Sports College Football Podcast, Adam Aizer previews the upcoming season with Maryland guard Andrew Gonnella. The senior lineman started all 13 games in the Terps turnaround season in 2010, helping Maryland come within one game of the Atlantic Division crown.

Gonnella pulls back the curtain on the Maryland program, giving some insight on the Randy Edsall transition, what it's like blocking for ACC Rookie of the Year Danny O'Brien, and how he feels about starting the season with Miami and West Virginia early in the season.
