PODCAST: Bowl Previews (Dec. 30) w/Dennis Dodd

Posted by Tom Fornelli

We've been posting podcasts with bowl previews all week, and that won't be changing today. Our own Dennis Dodd joins Adam Aizer on the CBSSports.com College Football Podcast to discuss the matchups in the Armed Forces, Pinstripe, Music City and Insight Bowls. Also, if those games aren't enough to whet your appetite, they talk about other things as well.

In particular, the latest at Ohio State following the NCAA's decision on Tuesday. Did the NCAA do enough? Is a bowl ban worse than reduced scholarships? Answers to these questions and more, so be sure to listen.

Posted by Jerry Hinnen

In this edition of the Free Bruce Podcast, CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman talks new coaching hires with our Bryan Fischer--Urban Meyer at Ohio State, Todd Graham at Arizona State, and more. But that's just the run-up to an interview with one of those new hires his own self: Ole Miss's Hugh Freeze. Freeze discusses the challenges of his new job, how far he's come to earn it, and just how often he hears about his role in The Blind Side.

PODCAST: Bowl Previews (Dec 20-26)

Posted by Tom Fornelli

The first three bowl games of the season were played on Saturday, and outside the New Mexico Bowl, we had some pretty entertaining games to watch. Hopefully that trend will continue throughtout the bowl season, and we've got five more games coming this week to watch. Of course, you don't want to go into these games knowing absolutely nothing about what you'll be watching, do you? That'd be stupid.

Thankfully Adam Aizer and J. Darin Darst were kind enough to preview the next five games on the schedule for you in the latest episode of the CBSSports.com College Football Podcast. The Beef O'Brady, Poinsettia, Las Vegas, Hawaii and Independence Bowls, they're all here! All broken down in detail for you so when you're watching with friends you can sound like you actually know what you're talking about.

PODCAST: Big Ten Wrapup with Adam Jacobi

Posted by Adam Jacobi

What went right and wrong for each team in the Big Ten? Which Wisconsin-Michigan State game was better? Who would win - or really, who would lose - if Indiana played Kansas? Also, I talk about each team in the conference, look ahead to next year and weigh in on new coaching hires at Ohio State and Illinois

[Click here to check out the Coaching Carousel Homepage]

One last thing I'd like to point out is that afterwards over email, Adam Aizer and I discussed what the Ali-Frazier III-type name for Wisconsin-MSU III would be. He had "Dancing In East Lansing." The best I could do was "It's a Sconnybrook." This is your reminder that we two Adams are not the next Don King. For many, many reasons.

Your emails could be read on the next edition of the CBSSports.com College Football Podcast, so send them in to podcast[at]cbsinteractive [dot] com.

PODCAST: SEC Wrap-up

Posted by Jerry Hinnen

As many headlines as LSU and Alabama have hogged this season, has it really been another banner season for an SEC without quite as much of its usual offensive punch or nonconference success? Or have the Tigers and Tide overshadowed a league stil las deep as it's ever been?

Adam Aizer
talks to our resident SEC blogger -- the one whose name is at the top of the post, natch -- about those questions and lots more as we wrap up the SEC's 2011 season. What's been the league's biggest surprise? Disappointment? Coach of the Year? Its best defense? And why did each team finish the way did--what went wrong, and what right? We cover it all in this edition of the CBSSports.com College Football Podcast, which you can listen to by clicking below, downloading the mp3, or popping out the player in a new window.
